Wendy’s neck bone waspletely shattered, and her skull was
severely damaged.
She should have died instantly.
However, strangely enough, she was still alive.
Holding her in his arms, Nash was about to heal her with soul energy when he realized that her skull
injuries were rapidly recovering.
“What…”
Using his Third Eye once again, Nash grimaced when he saw Wendy’s
brain squirm about while recovering on its own.
Self-heal-an ability possessed by every living organism.
If a normal person were to cut their finger, they would usually tak days to a month to heal.
For a martial artist, this process would only take about three days.
The higher the cultivation level, the faster the speed of recovery.
As a martial artist who had attained the Mystique Loyalty Realm, this process would only take Nash a
few hours.
Moreover, Nash’s body had been modified by dragon blood, thus
further enhancing his self-healing ability. For that reason, even minor
injuries could be healed almost instantly.
Apart from himself, the only other beings he knew with such
extraordinary healing abilities were Gic Warriors.
T
The self-healing ability of Gic Warriors was so incredulous that
even Nash found it hard to believe.
If you were to rank it on a scale from one to ten, the self-healing
ability of Gic Warriors would be at a nine.
The self-recovery of broken bones was something that even Divine
Sojourn Realm martial artists could not achieve.
It was also equally impossible for Gic Warriors to still be alive
after getting their brains smashed.
However, that was what was happening to Wendy right now. Her skull
had been smashed into a gooey mess, yet it was recovering rapidly.
Suddenly, Nash heard the sound of a faint heartbeat from behind.
Turning around in shock, Nash scanned the sea of corpses with his Third Eye and saw that Winston
was not dead either.
Realizing this sent a chill down his spine.
Nash had a sudden desire to experiment on them and study the
secret behind their self-healing capabilities.
“Mr. Calcraft…”
Another ck figure appeared suddenly from nowhere.
It was Henry. He was soaked in blood as he had just rushed over from the Meyers’ martial arts hall.
His expression darkened when he saw the sea of corpses, and his eyes gleamed with a murderous
intent.
ncing at him, Nash asked grimly, “Where did the killer go?”
Tamping down his anger, Henry replied, “He went home to the
Freemans’ family vi.”
Hearing his words, Nash’s eyes shed with revenge. He had an urge

to kill every single Freeman, but he reined in his thoughts as Winston and Wendy were still in dire
straits.
“Mr. Calcraft, this girl…”
Henry stared at Wendy incredulously when he realized that she was still alive.
“She’s not dead…”
Pointing at Winston, Nash said, “He’s not dead either. Let’s take them somewhere safe where they can
rest and heal.”
Both of them carried Winston and Sophia to the main hall.
With a wave of his hand, Nash retrieved the Divine Needles and
asked, “How’s the situation at the Meyers’?”
“Nobody survived,” Henry said, on the verge of tears.
“Is the National Martial Bureau going to do anything about this?”
Nash asked.
Slightly stunned at his question, Hendrix shook his head and replied, ”
I reckon the Third Elder would want to sweep this under the rug!”
Nash sneered. “What about the people in your Divine Strategy Squadron?”
After thinking for a while, Hendrix replied, “They should be sending an Elder to negotiate with the
Freemans.”
Hearing Hendrix’s response, Nash understood.
They would not be receiving any official support.
Deep down, he had assumed as much, but he just wanted to confirm.
