The lobby manager, Shanice Hume, introduced, “Mr. Calcraft, this is our hotel’s general manager, Mr.
Nathan Solme.” She put on an apologetic look.
Shanice was Melody’s college ssmate. When Nash booked the hotelst night, Shanice managed to
get a discount through her connections. Nash naturally would not me Shanice for this.
Instead, he looked at Nathan and said, “Integrity is essential when ites to business. I reserved the
Empire Hotel for seven days. It hasn’t even been a day and you’re already backing out of the
agreement?”
Nathan frowned slightly. “Didn’t you hear what I just said? The Warden of the Southern Territory will be
staying at our hotel tonight.”
The man’s words caused everyone at the table to furrow their brows, all except for Jaxon. Bertram
mmed his hand on the table and roared, “Is the Warden of the Southern Territory above us? Are we
not all human?”
Seeing Bertram’s imposing appearance, Nathan could not help but sneer. “You think you’reparable
to the Warden? You think you can act arrogantly just because you have a wealthy rtive?”
In his eyes, this burly man was nothing more than a country bumpkin.
People like this were likely only able to enter the Empire Hotel through the influence of their friends or
rtives.
Bertram was so angry that his nostrils seemed close to smoking. His fists were clenched so tightly that
one could even hear a cracking sound.
Ash pressed down on Bertram’s fist and shook his head. “We’re all in the Mystique Loyalty Realm. Why
bother arguing with these ordinary people?”
Seeing his own people being ridiculed, Nash was also fuming. He maintained a nk expression as he
said, “Go and tell the Warden of the Southern Territory that the Empire Hotel has been booked for
seven days. If he wants to stay here, he’ll have to wait until after seven days.”
To ordinary people, the Warden of the Southern Territory may be revered. To Nash, however, he was
just an ordinary person. To those in the Mystique Loyalty Realm, ordinary people were no different from
ants.
Nathan coldly snorted. “Get security to throw them out!”
Shanice whispered, “Mr. Solme, there’s nothing that can’t be discussed. Isn’t this a bit excessive?
After all, Nash’s group were the ones who had booked the hotel first. Even if they wanted Nash’s group
to leave, the hotel should be apologetic about it. Instead, Nathan was resorting to violence just because
things were not going his way.
“What, are my words no longer effective?” Nathan narrowed his eyes and asked. Shanice was merely a
lobby manager, yet she dared defy his orders. Did she not know that he could get her fired with just a
single word?
Shanice persisted, saying, “Mr. Solme, what I mean is, we can negotiate with the guests and offer them
appropriatepensation.”
Nathan immediately pped Shanice in the face. “You dog, are you trying to teach me how to do
things?”Please check at N/?vel(D)rama.Org.
He had already made it clear that the Warden of the Southern Territory was the one who wanted to
book the Empire Hotel. Did she not know who he was? The Warden was a true ruler of millions, the
one above all.
For him to stay at the Empire Hotel was an honor for the hotel. Why would a general manager like
himselfe all the way to this particr branch of the hotel otherwise?
Shanice’s cheek was swollen, and blood oozed from the corner of her mouth. She red at Nathan
coldly but said nothing more.
Bertram could not stand the situation any longer. Fists clenched on the table, he was about to get up
when Nash stopped him this time.
Let’s deal with matters involving ordinary people with ordinary means
With that, he took out his phone and dialed Melody’s number.
“Darling…” Melody’szy voice sounded from the other end of the phone. It seemed she had just
woken up. Sitting at the table were Mystique Loyalty Realm experts. Even if they were not trying to
listen, it was hard not to hear when they were so close.
“Ahem… Can you buy the Empire Hotel?” Nash went straight to the point. Everyone instantly regarded
him with awe.
