Timothy did not know if he should startughing or crying. "Even if we send him an invitation, he might not even dare show up!"
Given Nash''s position and power, it was highly likely he had already figured out the Klein family''s military power.
Would he dare journey to the Kleins'' residence to face four Profound Oriental Realm experts himself?
Alexander picked up his teacup and sipped from it as he stared straight into Timothy''s eyes.
"I-I''ll go have that done right now..."
Timothy was so scared he began shuddering as he strode away from the living room.
At the State Capital building, Nash stood with two of the country''s founding figures to discuss matters rted to the Divine Strategy Squadron and Anton''s funeral.
At the mention of Anton, the two elderly generals began tearing up.
"Mr. Varhess always strived to give everything his best during his time alive. I''ve already requested to the Sovereign that Mr. Varhess be offered a state funeral, and the Sovereign has agreed!"
Elias sat in an armchair, a thin gray nket draped over his legs. He used a silk scarf to dab away the tears that had formed in his eyes.
Anton had established the Divine Strategy Squadron ten years after the government of Drakonia was formed.
Although his official position was well below the two elderly generals, he had been awarded just as many awards as they had.
"Life is so, so unfair!"
Kaden had a pained look on his face as he looked up at the skies. He was seemingly airing his grievances to the heavens!
"My condolences, sirs. Please make sure to look after yourself!"
Nash had a gloomy expression on his face as he spokefortingly.
Anton''s death was a massive loss to the country.
However, given everything that had happened, they should hope that the deceased''s soul was at peace while those who lived on did so with strength.
"Nash is right. Let''s not take up too much of his time and proceed to the next topic!"
Kaden soon regained control over his emotions. However, he still sounded a little choked up.
Elias nodded and turned to Nash, "A leader is necessary for a well-functioning organization. Nash, who do you think should be appointed as the squadron''s nextmander?"
He and Kaden had spent three hours discussing this over the phonest night.
He opined that Das should be promoted to the position. After all, Das had been the deputymander for the past two dozen years and was well-respected within the squadron.
However, Kaden thought that they should appoint Anton''s descendant, Benediet, as the nextmander. He reasoned that Anton had always been training Benedict to take over his position.
Benedict was young and was well-versed in martial arts. Given time, he would be a presence just as powerful as Anton''s.
Allowing Benedict to assume the position would also be a way of honoring Anton.
"I''m sure both of you have a candidate in mind, right?" Nash asked as he gazed at the men.
"Yes, but Elias and I have different ideas!" Kaden said as he smiled bitterly. "He wants Das to assume the position, but my ideal candidate is Benedict!"
"Benedict is much too young!" Elias said, chuckling bitterly.
"Nash is young too, isn''t he? The future is in the hands of the young. The development of our society and our country is tied to the young!"
Kaden was beginning to get agitated, and he thumped his fist against the table.
He was also probably the only person who dared thump the table when speaking to Elias.
"Can Benedict even hold a candle to Nash? How many spectacr youngsters like Nash exist in this world?" Elias retorted.
"Mr. Anton''s body hasn''t even gonepletely cold yet, and you''re already looking down on his great-grandson. You''ve got no heart at all!" Kaden roared.
"When have looked down on
Benedict? I''ve never refuted the fact that he''s talented, have I?" Elias was beginning to lose patience as well, and he mmed a palm against the table as he got to his feet.
"Why can''t you listen to what other people have to say, you stubborn old man? What I''m trying to tell you is that Benedict needs a little more time to be more settled!" "Settle? What bullshit-"
"Hey, why are you cussing me out?"
The two rolled their sleeves, ready to fight.
Nash hurriedly sprang to his feet and stopped the two from turning the fight into a physical one. "Stop, stop. Everything is open for negotiation. Please calm down first!"
Elias huffed angrily. "If it weren''t for Nash, I would''ve ripped your mouth right off your face!"Content (C) N?v/elDra/ma.Org.
"Hah. Not that I''m looking down on you, but you would be no match for me even if I fought you with just one hand!"
Kaden had a scornful expression on

his face as he continued, “I was professionally trained and have mastered all the different forms martirts. I beat up nearly two dozen enemies all by myself back in my day. Did you think I was like you, crying as I hid in the back?
That offended Elias and his eyes widened. "I was devising strategies... Cough cough..."
