Nash was in Gorgeous Country.


    After encountering the drunk woman, Nash could not just leave her on the roadside. Hence, he got another room at the hotel and ced the drunk woman there. He left her his phone number before turning to leave. By the time Nash returned to his own room, it was already evening. Darkness had fallen, but Theo still had not woken up.


    Just as Nash let his guard down, a figure suddenly darted out of the bathroom. Nash hurried forward to chase it, but the shadow melted into the ground in an instant.


    "It has a power simr to Mosley''s..." Nash approached to investigate. He bent down and touched the ck substance, then smelled it. "This is... gasoline..."


    Suddenly, a spark shed, and before Nash could react, he was engulfed in mes. He then remembered that there seemed to be simr substances inside the room.


    It was no wonder Theo had been asleep for so long. He must have been drugged.


    Nash was not the real one in danger.


    Nash gathered true energy to dispel the mes on his body and immediately rushed back toward the hotel. "I was careless... That guy was probably just a lure. The real target is Theo!"


    However, there was one thing that puzzled him. Nash had anticipated such dangers and taken protective measures early on, so why had they not been triggered?


    By now, the building was aze with roaring mes.


    "Damn it!" Nash leaped into the air and flew to their floor.


    After smashing through the ss, he frantically turned the doorknob. "The door''s been tampered with too?!" Nash kicked the door open without hesitation. After searching for a long time, he could not find any trace of Theo.


    "Where is he... Theo! Talkative Theo! Where are you?" There was no sign of Theo in therge room. Nash tried to use true energy to disperse the mes, but the fire was immune to it.


    There was only one exnation-this fire was someone''s ability, burning true energy itself.


    Nash then heard explosions and knew the building was no longer safe. He held his breath and activated his Third Eye.


    Most people had evacuated... but wait... Nash saw the drunk woman still in the stairwell through his Third Eye, likely unconscious from the smoke. He had to be quick! Nash did not hesitate and channeled all his true energy toward the woman.


    He could feel his true energy depleting at an rming rate. The fire had turned the entire building into a barrier, consuming not just the structure but the true energy of everyone inside.


    Realizing he could not afford any more dys, Nash rushed to the woman. He hoisted her onto his back and leaped toward the window. As long as he had some true energy left, he could walk on air.


    Then, he noticed the mes he had dispelled reigniting. "W-What is this..." Nash''s true energy was once again being consumed.


    The time spent within the barrier had nearly depleted his true energy. There was no longer any way to rely on it to descend safely.
