    Colt''s head pounded, and as he took a few steps back, ready to bolt, he turned to see Officer Derick and the other cops, who should''ve been out ofmission, closing in on him. The officers quickly overpowered Colt.


    "Is this some kind of act?" Colt was stunned; he never imagined Sophie would pull off such a ruse to get him to spill the beans. His face darkened with realization.


    Sophie continued, "You''re just too naive, and that''s why you revealed everything so easily. Colt, tell us what you know, and I''ll let you go. But if you don''t... who knows what might happen to you."


    Seeing Colt hesitate, Sophie stepped closer and said, "You should know your boss isn''ting to save you. I''m your only shot here. Do you really want to gamble on an afterlife when you haven''t even lived this life fully?" Colt''s resolve wavered, and he asked, "If I tell you, will you really let me go?"

    "Alright, I''ll tell you." Colt leaned in and whispered a few words to Sophie.


    Sophie raised an eyebrow at his revtion. Standing up, she asked, "If I need to find Odie, where would your boss have taken him?" "Summerfield," Colt replied without a moment''s hesitation.


    "Alright, then you''re free to go."


    "Ma''am! Are you sure about letting him go?" Officer Derick seemed taken aback. Were they really trusting this guy just like that?


    "Let him go," Sophie said. "He''s no use to us anymore."


    With Sophie''s directive, Officer Derick had no choice but to unlock Colt''s handcuffs. Seeing that they weren''t going to hassle him anymore, Colt stumbled away. Colby, standing next to Sophie, asked, "Do you believe what he said?"


    "Not a word," Sophie replied. "Since he''s so loyal to his boss, once he''s free, he''ll head straight to the church to find him. Colt was close to Joseph, so he must have had ess to the church''s inner circle. We just need someone to tall him, and we''ll find the church''s hideout. Odie... might be there."

    Sophie looked at Colby and said, "You already knew what I was up to. I bet you had someone follow him."
