Stepping through the school gates, Roseanne left Murray standing alone, a bitter smile on his face. "I didn''t mean to... Do I really seem that bad in your eyes?"
First thing on the agenda for Roseanne was ss, but once it let out, she joined forces with Mamie and Scales to head over to theb.
They had just five days left to use theb, a deadline looming over them to finalize the first phase of their experiment data.
Upon arrival, the trio was taken aback to find theb door wide open, with a group of janitors moving stuff around.
"What the heck are you doing?!" Mamie exploded. "Who let you in here? That''s our stuff, where are you taking it?!"
Setting up theb had been abor of love for them. They had shopped for supplies together, cleaned together - in every sense, they had made this space their second home.
So, naturally, seeing a bunch of strangers barging in and starting to haul their things away without a word was enough to make anyone''s blood boil. Mamie was livid.
"Put that down! Put it down now-did you hear me?!"
The janitors, clearly confused, were caught off guard. "...The college told us toe and move stuff."
Roseanne managed to keep her cool. "Who exactly from the college told you this?"
"It was Ms. Edna. She said theb failed a fire safety inspection, so we were to clear everything out to make way for repairs." "That witch!" Mamie seethed, teeth gritted. "We still had five days. She couldn''t wait even a moment longer to kick us out?"
How could someone so spiteful be an educator?
The janitors, scratching their heads in confusion, apologized, "Sorry, we really don''t know the full story. We''re just doing what we were told." Roseanne didn''t want to make a scene. "It''s almost lunchtime. Why don''t you guys take a break, and we''ll discuss this in the afternoon?" "Alright. We''ll head out then."
Mamie, on the verge of tears, was beside herself. "What do we do, Roseanne? We have so many data sets still pending. If we can''t use theb, we''re screwed."
Even though they had ns to set up their ownb, that was going to take time.
et
They needed to wrap up the first phase of the experiments before moving on to the analysis phase, which thankfully didn''t requireb ess as long as no retesting was involved. But that was contingent on clearing their backlog of data sets.
Being evicted on such short notice had thrown a wrench into their ns...
"It''s outrageous. She has no moralpass. Does she think she owns the college? That Kingswell University is her personal property?!"
As Mamie was ranting, a voice cut through the tension-
"Wow, what''s all themotion? Which pig is squealing now?" ter sauntered over, hands in pockets, wearing a smug grin.
Mamie''s eyes shed with anger. "What did you say?! You''re the pig, your whole family''s a bunch of pigs!"
Insults about her weight were a surefire way to hit a nerve.
"Tsk-worrying about being a pig is the least of your worries. If I were you, instead of being kicked out, I''d leave voluntarily. It''s more dignified."
ter''s gloating was unbearable, making it hard to resist the urge to p him.Text ? 2024 N?velDrama.Org.
Roseanne, squinting slightly, held back an irate Mamie, and spoke calmly, "Let''s just pack up our things." "Roseanne!"
terughed triumphantly, “Finally showing some sense, huh? Needed me to kick you out to get it, how pathetic is that?"
As Roseanne lifted a piece ofb equipment, she made sure to "identally" let it slip right as she passed by ter-
Crash!
Followed immediately by a scream of pain.
