Chapter 10: Skill Shop II


    Thea was currently nearing the end of the list, she wasn''t sure how long she had been reading and for some reason she wasn''t getting tired but she was close to finished choosing her skills. She read thest remaining skills finding nothing that was better than she had already found. Currently she had 9 skills she had picked, she picked the 9th in case she would need toe back and look for it but it seemed the system was dead set on giving her 8 empty slots. So she gave up the 9th skill.


    The skills she did have left over and picked were:


    [Poison Resistance (LVL.1)  30 DP]


    [Greater Vitality (LVL.1)  50 DP]


    [Sexual Talent (LVL.1)  25 DP]


    [Meditation Talent (LVL.1)  40 DP]


    [Weapon Talent (LVL.1)  35 DP]


    [Death Aura (LVL.1)  25 DP]


    [Hair Control (LVL.1)  10 DP]


    [Status Screen (LVL.1)  50 DP]


    The [Status Screen] skill, was what she, was most interested in because the next section after [Skill Shop] was [Status Shop]. Thea thought, when she found it amongst the skills in the list, that what she had now, she might not have when she is reborn limiting her to just everything she had customized and bought.


    After she found the [Status Screen] skill she looked if she could find an inspect or identify skill amongst the list but she didn''t. If they were real skills, Thea figured they would be among the nextpartment, which she guessed were the active skills.


    She purchased all the skills, finalizing her choice and started upgrading them. When she finished upgrading them she curiously inspected them to see their final functions.


    [Poison Resistance (LVL.MAX): Your gain poison immunity.  120 DP]


    [Greater Vitality (LVL.MAX): It bes almost impossible for you to lose energy. You will still need to sleep.  200 DP]


    [Sexual Talent (LVL.MAX): Any sexual acts you perform will be pleasurable and arousing.  100 DP]


    [Meditation Talent (LVL.MAX): You learn how to meditate to the highest degree. 1 hour of meditation regenerates health and mana, if they are full, you increase you maximum health  160 DP]


    [Weapon Talent (LVL.MAX): Anything bes a weapon in your hands.  140 DP]


    [Death Aura (LVL.MAX): You gainplete control over your aura, your aura bes tangible and deals decay damage.  100 DP]


    [Hair Control (LVL.MAX): You gainplete control over your own body hair, you can remove, grow and move it with your will.  40 DP]


    [Status Screen (LVL.MAX): A status screen disying various points of information about oneself. You can activate the ''Status'' skill  200 DP]


    All these skills seemed really useful to Thea, especially the [Hair Control], she understood why it was one of the cheaper skills, as it wouldn''t do much if you had normal hair, but our little Thea didn''t have normal hair, did she.


    When Thea finished these choices, the upgrade screen closed and she was back to the previous screen, she started looking around to find out what happened to the 9th skill when a new screen automatically popped up.


    [Special Passive Skill Shop]


    Was what it read. Thea figured out that thest empty tab that cost 10 times the tab before it, which in turn allowed you to buy a Special Passive. When she finished thinking about this, she started looking at the list, this list wasn''t that long though, there were only 5 choices:


    [Greater Defense (LVL.1)  175 DP]


    [Mana Regeneration (LVL.1)  550 DP]


    [Beauty (LVL.1)  125 DP]


    [Health Regeneration (LVL.1)  500 DP]


    [Parallel Thinking (LVL.1)  600 DP]


    She now understood why these were given a separate list, these were some really strong skills. As she looked through the options, she realized, she practically already had the highest defense with her God skin, and because of that health regeneration was pointless. She wanted something she could use all the time and [Beauty] just didn''t seem like the attractive option, ironic huh.


    She was left with two choices [Mana Regeneration] and [Parallel Thinking], while thinking about what they were worth she started imagining the possible synergies with her body parts. While parallel thinking was great on its own it didn''t elevate anything else, on the other hand mana regeneration would work well with her magic core, and she would never be out of mana.
