Chapter 85: Bill


    As soon as those words left Thea''s mouth, the originally loud room went quiet. Everyone looked at Thea in disbelief before they burst out inughter. After all, she had just be an F-rank member of the guild and here she was calling someone who could beat a D-rank names.


    "Thea we should go." Mia whispered as she tugged on Thea''s sleeve.


    Mia was strong for her age and she knew Thea was stronger than her, but she was doubting if Thea was stronger than the man in front of her.


    "Ohh, don''t worry about it, this man isn''t much." Thea bluntly said, not caring if the party mentioned could hear her or not.


    She was still angered by the behavior of the hooligan still slumped over, she was thinking if she should go over an p his unconscious face or just forget about him. Thea had already inspected the man in front of her, although he was above average, he was still weaker than Thea, especially after her awakening.

    ''-_-, is everyone''s luck higher than mine?'' Thea felt hopeless and wondered if there was any way to raise ones luck.


    Bill''s strength was close to Thea but all other values were much lower, Thea then inspected his armor, not surprised to see some basic effects on it, however she did note that the effects the armor provided, didn''t show on the status panel.


    After Mia''s suggestion, Thea turned around and returned her attention to the flyers, she then took down some gathering and subjugation quests and walked over to the counter.


    Bill, stood dazed in his original spot.


    ''Have I just been threatened and then ignored?'' Bill thought to himself.


    As realization hit him, his anger rose and he looked around for the girl he had just imed. When he saw her at the counter, acting like nothing had happened he stomped over to the counter and reached out for the girls long, tinum hair.


    Thea however had learned from her recent mistake, she had spread an undetectableyer of mana around her using her [Mana Zone] skill and just like she had prepared for, she soon sense Bill moving closer to her before he had stretched out his hand.


    Thea and Mia had reached the counter and were just asking to ept the quests they had chosen.


    The receptionist of course could see Bill approaching and just as she was about to warn the two girls, Thea had simply extended two hair strands and wrapped one around Bills outstretched arm and the other around his shoulder and neck, locking him in ce.


    Funnily enough, as Thea had aged from a 12 year old to a 18 year old, physically at least, her hair had grown longer, whenbined with her [Hair & Tail Strike] and [Hair Control] skill, extending her strengthened hair to 3-4 meters wasn''t a problem.


    When Thea had wrapped her 2 hair strands around Bills arm and neck, she had used little strength and even still it was clear to see that the thin strands were cutting into his skin. Thea was careful not to cut too deep, but still deep enough for Bill to get the message.

    "Can we go?" Thea asked with a small friendly smile while she looked at the red-haired receptionist.


    The receptionist, Luna sitting next to her, all the adventurers that were drinking and fucking were silent. They all stared at Bill who was frozen in ce with drops of blood dripping down from his arm and neck, they then looked at the young girl that was smiling innocently. To top it off, she hadn''t even nced at the man whose life she was holding since the beginning.


    "Miss?" Thea asked while looking at the receptionist.


    "Ahh, y-yes that won''t be a problem You should be able to find the herbs and beasts if you leave the west or north gate." The receptionist replied, when she had reached the end of her exnation she had regained herposure and her profession attitude.


    As the receptionist calmed down, the other people in the guild did too and soon the atmosphere was back to what it was before.


    Thea nodded, let go of Bill and walked outside hand in hand with Mia.


    When they exited the guild they told Mel about the missions they epted and headed to the West gate.


    Everyone in the guild had one lingering thought: ''A wolf in sheep''s clothing has joined the herd.''


    Unlike when entering the city, when leaving they didn''t need to wait in a queue and quickly they were outside again. Not even an hourter and they were in the forest hunting their targets and gathering herbs.
