A system prompt appeared in Li Yao’s field of vision.
“System: By collecting two pieces of the Creator’s Equipment, the first effect of the set bonus is activated.”
“Mechanical Maniption: You can control engineering items more freely, increasing the attacking power of used engineering items by 15%. Skills learned: Mechanical Space, Mechanical Repair, Heart of Machinery and Mechanical Contract.”
A Mechanical Contract is simple: it’s a spell that allows you to sign a contract with mechanical creatures.
“Mechanical Space allows you to open a small interdimensional space, the size being equal to the capacity of your bag, but only engineering items can be released.”
“Mechanical Repair allows for the quick repair and assembly of mechanical items.”
“Heart of Machinery lets youmune telepathically with a mechanical pet under contract, restoring 1% of its HP every second.”
Li Yao considered these attributes carefully. In his previous life, even the yer who got the Eye of the Creator had never gotten two pieces of the Creator’s Equipment.
The attributes of the set were revealed by the official forums in an attempt to promote it, knowing that the Eye of the Creator and the other pieces of the Creator’s Equipment could never be gathered in one ce. But now, Li Yao had obtained them.
Aside from the increase of 15% in attack power, the rest of the abilities didn’t really enhance hisbat prowess.
The three attributes of the Creator’s Hand boosted only his survivability and the capability of adapting to different terrains.
The attribute ‘Versatile Handyman’ could save him a lot of time spent training in secondary professions, which was excellent. The ‘shiny’ items, for instance, when creating a green- quality item, it could upgrade to blue-quality, improving its grade. It’s an attribute that wasn’t very useful at the moment but would be increasingly powerful as the game progressed.
In his previous life, yearster, a yer from the Light Faction got this arm and used its abilities to craft many powerful items. Li Yao had always fantasized about this, believing it to be insanely powerful. Now, however, it was in his hands, which was a fantastic twist of fate.
In Free Mode, there was no such thing as weapon proficiency. Your performance with a weapon depended entirely on your skill. This attribute, however, was absolutely heaven-defying. If you had a good special-effect weapon, it would trigger frequently, and it would always deal maximum weapon damage.
At first nce, it did not increase attack power, but Li Yao valued this attribute even more.
Wisdom Blessing was easier to understand. For example, his Mechanical Firehawk only had low-level wisdom. After using Wisdom Blessing, it would have high-level wisdom, which was one of the prerequisites for bing a dungeon boss.
Li Yao patted the Firehawk crouched on his side, observing him with curiosity and then used Wisdom Blessing on it.
A mystical rune entered the Firehawk’s body. The Firehawk’s eyes now looked brighter and more spirited, reminiscent of a yful child.
While reciting the contract spell, Li Yao ced his hand on the Firehawk’s forehead. It felt like he had entered a room, a child looking back at him with timid eyes. Before he could react, a dark shadow knocked him over.
Li Yao was startled and stepped back. His hand left the Firehawk’s forehead, yet he could still feel his connection with it.
The Firehawk was chirping joyously and circling around Li Yao. After ying with it for a while, Li Yao stashed it in his Mechanical Space. The simple and convenient Mechanical Space did not upy his pet slot.
After connecting it with energy, anybody who was brilliant could operate the machinery, and the mine could function normally.
After taking care of the mine, Li Yao used his Hearthstone to return to town. He then promptly sought out the profession trainer as he had an elite quest to undertake.
Elite tasks, and ones that he could trigger himself, that werepatible with the Hunter ss, and were feasible toplete at his current stage of development, were not many.
In arge 5-10 level map that Li Yao knew, he could trigger a Ranger quest. Afterpleting the task, he would be able to be an Elite Ranger.
Due to the decline of the Windrunner Family, the current Ranger General has reorganized the remaining Ranger troops after the disaster. Toplete this task, one must visit a Ranger outpost.
To reach the outpost, you must leave the Beginner’s Vige. yers can set off to more expansive maps for levelling up after they reach level five and obtained a certificate from their ss trainer.
Li Yao, now assuming the identity of Starfire, slightly bows to his mentor Eileen and says, “Mentor, I believe I’m prepared to leave the Tower of the Sun now. May I ask for proof of my readiness?”
Eileen brightens her eyes upon seeing Li Yao and says, “That’s not a problem at all, of course.
The mentor pulls out an envelope and goes to write her name and the words ‘Starfire’ in the nk space.
“Thank you, mentor.” Li Yao takes the envelope and bows once again.
As Li Yao turns to leave, Eileen suddenly stops him and says, “Starfire, I have a task here. Are you interested?”
“Well, you know, I’m about to leave the Tower of the Sun.” Li Yao is reluctant but cannot explicitly refuse. These intelligent NPCs are not much different from humans. Offending certain NPCs doesn’t matter, but for others, no one can tell what will happen next.
He’s seen many people unknowingly offend NPCs and end up epting impossible tasks with disastrous consequences.
“You’d better not refuse this task becausepleting it will award you an Elite Inheritance. You can consider it. Plus, this particr Elite Inheritance is very powerful; it has high development potential. If it weren’t for your contributions as a hunter, I wouldn’t have offered this task to anyone.” Eileen appears confident in Li Yao.
Li Yao is stunned. What the hell, he was just about to take on an elite task, and now it’s triggered?
“I can only be a ranger, right? What kind of elite thing is more promising for a Hunter than a Ranger?”
A sh of surprise flickers in Eileen’s eyes as she responds, “Since you’re aware of Rangers, you must know about the most formidable ranger family and their unique kind of rangers, the Dark Rangers.”
Li Yao’s heart pounds at the mention of Dark Rangers. He’s more than familiar with them.
Sylvanas is now the Queen of the Undead n. In life, she once led the young generation of the Windrunner Family. When the Undead Legion descended, she perished under the Demon Artifact, Frostmourne, as the highest militarymander of the High Elf Kingdom.
Later, Sylvanas led a group of self-aware undead to break free from the Lich King’s control, establishing the Undead Kingdom and bing its queen.
Those rangers who were loyal to her until death and surviving old subordinates still followed her. From a Banshee of the Undead, she became the Dark Ranger Queen, controlling the power of darkness and death. These powers run through the veins of all Dark Rangers.
The Dark Rangers clearly hold an advantage over ordinary rangers as they use the powers of death and darkness to strengthen their arrow techniques, rendering them more elusive and powerful.
In his previous life, countless hunters wanted to be Dark Rangers but had no way in, nor was there any guide for the task. Regretfully, Li Yao used to think that if he had been a Dark Ranger earlier, his chances of ascending to godhood would’ve been higher.
“Just to be clear, if you want to be a Dark Ranger, you must go to Undercity, and you must meet the General.”
She refers to Sylvanas as the General. Even though she’s the queen of another kingdom, many high elves still refer to her as the General.
Li Yao is dumbstruck. Is that a joke? He’s just a low-level adventurer. There’s no talking about meeting the queen. It’s a problem even trying to enter Undercity.
The Ancient God World strives for realism. Sylvanas is a world-ss leader and the queen of a n. It’s almost impossible to see her at this point.
Actually, it’s easy to understand. For instance, if an ordinary person in reality wants to meet a head of state, especially one from another country, the difficulty of that….
