In ancient times, the first Sun King led the High Elves across the vast ocean, nding in the fertile Tirisfal des.

The High Elves originally nned to build a second homnd here, but they eventually had to abandon this ce and continue their journey towards the northeast in search of a new home.

ording to the secret archives of the royal family, the Great Mages discovered that there was some kind of evil and powerful existence sleeping or sealed deep within thisnd.

Eventually, humans began to flourish, expanding persistently, and Tirisfal des had formed into a vast Human Kingdom.

Thister first strong human nation was known as Lordaeron, but because the Prince was controlled by a Demon Artifact, he returned to the capital and killed his own father, leading countless Undead to sweep across the entire kingdom.

The once vibrantnd turned into an Undead paradise, bing a Land of the Dead.

Lich King’s Undead with wisdom and a desire for rebellion, led by Sylvanas, broke away from the control of the Lich King. They fought back against arge number of pursuing mobs and waged wars on thisnd.

Eventually, in the underground of the capital of Lordaeron, the sewer system was expanded and designated as the capital of the Undead.

At this moment, Li Yao was in a small town north of the Undercity, in a ce called Brill.

Sitting at the head of his bed, Li Yao could see through the window a statue of the Queen standing tall in the mining yard, and the bustling scene of the town. After flying through the night, he had crossed tworge regions from the Ghost Land to arrive here. If it wasn’t for Eileen’s powerful mount, he would have needed a much longer time.

The game consumed a lot of his energy, and he only revived a few hourster after a quick nap at the inn. Now, he sat there, sipping hot apple wine and contemting how to enter the Undercity.

A direct approach definitely would not work, but time was running out. There was less than three days left to utilize. Li Yao’s mind was filled with various information from his previous life, trying to find a solution.

Li Yao rubbed his forehead, but still had no good ideas.

He then went downstairs to settle his bill and left the inn.

The town was bustling, with quite a few yers already. Many yers didn’t like the Beginner’s Vige; they would leave for the maind to level up and adventure after reaching level five.

After circling the town withouting up with a solution, Li Yao looked up to see a guardzily patrolling and had a sudden thought.

He approached and bowed, saying, “Excuse me, I’m an adventurer from afar and just arrived in this town. I would like to know if anything interesting has happened here recently.”

“I smell a stranger.” The guard frowned slightly.

Li Yao helplessly lifted his hood, saying, “Ie from Quel’Ths.”

“So, you’re from the Queen’s former n.” The Undead Guardian’s attitude immediately softened but still said, “I know you adventurers, but I don’t have any tasks for you.”

A copper coin appeared in Li Yao’s hand. “I’m not looking for tasks. I’m just curious about any interesting events that happened recently.”

The Undead Guardian’s eyes lit up instantly. He quickly pocketed the copper coin, feigning indifference, then said, “Recently, the Queen has been troubled by the matters of the Scarlet Monastery. She sent several powerful Banshees through here. Does that count as interesting news?”

“How long ago?” Li Yao’s eyes lit up.

“Around ten days ago.” The guard recalled before answering.

Li Yao immediately felt disappointed. The Scarlet Monastery wasn’t something he could handle at his current level. There was too much of a level difference. With a little hope left, he asked, “Is there anything else?”

The guard pped his forehead, saying, “Right, an emissary team from your kingdom passed through here yesterday and was received by the mayor. They left this morning. That’s all I know.”

“An emissary team, did they go to the Undercity?” Li Yao perked up instantly.

“No, apparently they wanted to see the Queen, but she didn’t meet them.” The guard looked around, clearly growing impatient.

“Thank you,” Li Yao immediately summoned his Dragon Eagle and flicked a silver coin at the man. The massive Dragon Eagle took off, quickly disappearing from the small town.

“I detest the living, but the generous ones… aren’t particrly detestable,” The guard happily ced the silver coin inside his bag.

Li Yao had his Dragon Eagle fly swiftly along the main road, after half an hour, they finally spotted arge caravan.

Li Yao instantly recognized the emblem of the delegation’s protectors, the Dawn Legion, essentially the royal bodyguards.

Loyal to the Sun King’s royal family, they were the most trusted military force of the royal family.

Discovering the size of the delegation’s gift train, and the fact that royal guards were escorting the delegation, Li Yao understood that this delegation bore an unimaginably high status.

As Li Yao was about to disembark, he noticed a group of adventurers obstructing the convoy, saying, “Is there anything you require help with? We’re at your service.”

The vanguard soldier from the Dawn Legion coldly replied, “There is no need for assistance here, adventurer. I’m warning you once, clear the way.”

“We are skilled yers, look, our levels are not low, we will not let you down. Feel free tomand us, no need to be polite,” the leading warrior persisted, trying to trigger a quest.

He was smart, understanding that the delegation held a high status, assuming it would trigger some special storyline. Previous games worked this way, triggering special storylines always led to substantial rewards.

Li Yao silently mourned for the adventurers. The many NPCs in “The Ancient God World” possessed considerable intelligence. They had their own thoughts and missions. They believed this world to be their own and that they were truly alive.

This was not like other games where NPCs entirely serve yers or something. Of course, there are special storylines in this game, but special conditions have to be met.

This squadron dared to stop a delegation being escorted by the military; incessantly lingering despite being warned, there could only be one oue. Boom…

A torrent of fire rained down on the yers in the pioneering squad, their spirits suddenly turned into white light.

“Blocking the delegation, death,” dered the leading soldier. As he spoke, the other soldiers had already moved the bodies to the side of the road, then signalled for the delegation to continue their journey.

Li Yao mourned the yers for a few seconds, their deaths were futile.

After considering his n carefully, Li Yao quickly removed his hood to reveal the appearance of a High Elf, then urged the Dragon Eagle to fly rapidly towards the delegation.

While flying, he yelled, “Urgent news, clear the path, urgent news, clear the path!”

The delegation’s guards who were about to continue their march suddenly noticed a tribe member riding a powerful Dragon Eagle, racing past them.

The Dragonhawk Knights instinctively cleared a path, allowing the Dragon Eagle to charge through.

Li Yao quickly identified themander, immediately controlling the Dragon Eagle to descend. He then jumped from the sky, performing a Shadow Roll to stabilize, his movement was incredibly smooth.

Upon seeing this, the royal guards cheered unanimously.

“General Lothar,” upon seeing the man in charge, Li Yao was startled but still recognized him.

“You know me,” Lothar stared at Li Yao through one eye, “But you’re not one of my scouts.”

At Lothar’s words, the guards who wereughing just a moment ago suddenly drew their weapons. The court Mages also tightly grasped their magic wands, a confrontation was on the edge.

If Li Yoa didn’t handle this well, he would end up like the adventurers from before…
