    Li Yao eximed, “It seems the quartermaster wasn’t lying after all. Many are taking this task!”


    “Brother, you took the task too?” w Mark grimaced. “This task is stumping a lot of people. I initially took it because the reward looked good, but I stepped right into a trap. I have no choice but to continue it.”


    “Huhuhu, I’m a master of tasks, and I’ve already made some progress. Join our team and we’ll ensure youplete the task,” suggested Pet Elf.


    Li Yao shook his head, “I have toplete an important task right now and can’t join your team. Here’s what I suggest, I’ll give you some hints since you’re also on this task. When you have found them, I reckon you would have almostpleted the task. At that point, we can solve this riddle together andplete the task. How does that sound?”


    This task required much legwork. Seeing the attractive reward, Li Yao initially nned to take it up while revealing The Mysterious Eye’s secrets, considering it a sightseeing level-up.


    Having met this decent bunch of folks, he thought of striking a friendship.


    “Bro, you have solid clues?” w Mark was surprised. After all, they had only found a tiny lead after studying all night in the library and it wasn’t even confirmed.

    w Unfeeling grumbled, “Bragging again, he’s just guessing it’s hidden. He knows nothing about any ‘subspace’.”


    “Unfeeling, shut your mouth,” Pet Elf red at w Unfeeling before turning to Li Yao with a smile, “Master, do go on.”


    Li Yao nodded and exined, “In actuality, these subspaces created by demi-gods are of low-grade and can only exist as an attachment to the main space, sustaining the ecosystem of the subspace requires a connection with the main space and the support of special symbols. You need to find specific trees, their characteristics are like this…”


    After Li Yao made a brief description of the trees, he added, “I’ve marked the ces on your map where, I believe, you will be able to find those trees if you spend a bit of time. However, it’s quite dangerous, so if you don’t want to go too deep, we can simply forget what I’ve said.”

    As he said this, Li Yao sent friend requests, which they all epted.


    “Sure, we’ll let you know as soon as we’ve done that,” said w Mark while storing away the potions.


    “Right, I’m off then.” Li Yao greeted and set off.


    “Let’s move too. Otherwise, once they resurrect, it’ll be trouble,” said w Mark.


    “Amazing yer, not even picking up the gear.” w Unfeeling murmured.


    “Don’t act smart after getting a bargain. It’s all just thieves’ gear after all,” Pet Elf snapped back.


    “Hehe,” they didn’t stand on ceremony and picked up the equipment anyway.


    “Holy crap, I checked and this Prairie Fire is really famous. There are lots of videos rted to him,” said Pet Elf while on the move, “He’s really amazing.”


    “No shit, he’s got so many world announcements and first kills, did you really need to check?” w Mark retorted.


    “I wondered why the name Prairie Fire sounded so familiar,” Pet Elf eximed in excitement, “There’s a post on the forum saying he founded a guild and being such a skilled and decent guy, how about we join Starfire Guild?”


    w Markughed bitterly, “You really can dream! It’s not as easy as just simply joining. They only ept elite professions. Hurry up, let’s finish this task and then I need to work on my elite task. I can’t keep up with your pace.”


    “Yes, after this we start the elite task and then join the guild!” Pet Elf’s determination was unwavering.


    The other three exhaled in exasperation. Little Missy was quite the character.


    Fifteen minutester, they returned to the location of the previous battle.


    The thieves resurrected themselves, sitting on the ground, eating and drinking to recover their health.


    Suddenly, arrow rain fell striking them, while assassin number 5, who was trying to enter stealth mode, noticed a mark on his head.

    Li Yao pulled the trigger, and three arrowsnded on the three stunned thieves who were caught in the first wave of arrow rain.


    They had just resurrected and their health was not fully restored. After suffering the damage from the arrow rain and Li Yao’s scatter shot, the three thieves were all dead yet again.


    “Prairie Fire, are you really going to end us?” Seeing Li Yao turn his gaze towards him, number 5 quickly shouted.


    “Don’t act like I don’t know your rules. I’ve been on your kill list for a while, whatever you are my enemy anyway. What’s wrong with protecting your body?” Li Yao shot another arrow.


    Shadow Mantle!


    Vanish!


    “Attempting to stealth in front of my face is pointless,” Li Yao remained in his original position, swiftly shooting another arrow.


    Pfft!


    The arrow seemed to hang in the air, before blood sttered and assassin number 5 came into view. He was as horrified as before, having no clue as to how Li Yao could urately guess his direction and hit his throat after he had vanished.


    Ever since entering Dark Grey Valley, he had killed too many yers. Thieves’ stealth, Shadow Mantle, Vanish were all dominant in their previous games; even elite yers were sent directly on their way by him.


    However, when Li Yao came into the picture, it seemed he himself had be the bygone thief and they had be his prey.


    Li Yao sneered, simply going into stealth doesn’t mean one is immune from damage.


    Suddenly, Li Yao released an Arcane Torrent!


    However, as the magic erupted, no thief appeared and Li Yao frowned. The one he had originaly nailed with a spear should have resurrected a long time ago, but he had yet not shown up.


    “Spineless guy.”


    Li Yao waited on guard for a while but didn’t feel a single hint of danger. He called back Death God 4000 and the thief still didn’t appear until he had gone far away.


    “Boss, why did you stop me? I had the chance to kill him,” said assassin number 15 discontentedly. “Dying instantlyst time was an ident.”


    “Kill my ass, you’re just seeking death. Wait an hour before resurrecting, damn, my military contribution. I didn’t even want to kill here, no one’s paying me either. If it weren’t for the elite task…” Assassin number 5 grumbled. His elite task required him to kill people for military contribution, however…
