Chapter 352: Super Combination
At first nce, controlling hundreds of Exploding Sheep might not seem significantly more challenging, but in reality the difference is immense.
Training spiritual power can be a very painful and tortuous process, and the higher the level, the more difficult it bes.
Initially, he was able to control five different things within three months, but it took him a year to barely control ten objects.
The stronger the spiritual power, the more difficult it is to continue improving.
Now, seeing Li Yao control nearly a hundred items, he knew what a colossal task it was, a level of spiritual power he could never hope to reach.
The exmations from the audience had abruptly silenced – they werepletely taken by surprise.
The turn of events were so swift that they were dizzying; they had just been praising Illusion God, and in the blink of an eye, Li Yao had once again subverted everyone’s expectations with his actions.
They hadpletely forgotten everything else, all they could think of was a single word: monster.
From the perspective of these masters, the most important thing in a game is not equipment or skills – poor equipment can be slowly umted, and skills can be purchased to learn.
They believe that individual strength is the most important factor.
Frankly, when they saw the impressive equipment and pets that Li Yao had, it didn’t impress them much, despite him winning more than fifty consecutive matches.<div>
Because from their point of view, those are just external things. As for the Charged Arrow, it is very powerful. But surely, all masters possessed a few extraordinary tricks up their sleeves.
However, Li Yao’s spiritual power was terrifying. They could generally control five or six in a single shot, or seven or eight at best. Illusion God being able to control ten was already considered peak level.
But the harsh reality was a rude awakening. It forced them to see the truth: some people could control a hundred.
“Monster.”
“Freak.”
“Aberration.”
All those watching the match understood how insane this ability was from thementators’ exnation, and how aberrant Li Yao was. They found it difficult to ept this for the moment.
The fact that Li Yao couldpletely blow away Illusion God made them feel as if the script had reversed, giving them a surreal sense of disbelief, as if they were in a dream.
The battle was still ongoing. Since Illusion God could only control ten skeletons at a time, the other skeletons could only rely on simple intelligence, they basically had no way to anticipate attacks.
The uracies of these actions were limited. Only five or six of the hundreds of Exploding Sheep were blown up by fireballs. Li Yao directed the remaining Exploding Sheep to make their bizarre advance, each seeking out its own target to explode upon.
The whole arena was filled with shes of magic and bursts of fire from the Self-Defense Sheep exploding, the entire arena was brilliantly illuminated.
The Golden Giant and the hydra were locked in a fierce battle, with neither side able to gain an advantage. But regardless, be it in terms of level or grade, the Golden Skull was far inferior to the hydra, and even with the curse that Illusion God had hastily ced upon the hydra, the Golden Giant was destined to be defeated.
All the Exploding Sheep detonated, leaving the majority of the skeletons with only about two-thirds of their blood volume remaining.
“What’s the point of this?”
Illusion God was very surprised to see this. He had originally thought that Li Yao would kill some of his skeletons in a focused way. However, Li Yao did not do so, which made it difficult for Illusion God to understand Li Yao’s intentions.
After all, he wasn’t a god, and he did not know the passive effect of the Dark Ranger.
“You’ll find out soon,” said Li Yao, as he began to draw his bow.
The skeletons from both sides were already closing in on his attack range. The distance between the two sides was just over a hundred yards.
As Li Yao drew his bow, the Steel Arrow first radiated a streak of ck gas, then a faint yellow glow, and its color gradually deepened.<div>
“Charged Arrow, wait? No…” Illusion God was doubtful. The two would have been able to cast their spells on Li Yao in just a few more steps, but Li Yao was still releasing his Charged Arrow. “Given his agility, even with the golden bow and level 4 Charged Arrow, he shouldn’t have needed this long.”
“Illusion God, you’re the first to witness my new skill. Try this one, Charged Scatter!” Li Yao had already released his fingers as he spoke.
Hum…
The dark gold Steel Arrow shot out violently, and as everyone was getting disappointed, the Steel Arrow suddenly exploded.<div>
Puff…
One Steel Arrow suddenly split into ten identical dark gold Steel Arrows.
Pa…pa…pa…
Even Illusion God was not sure what was going on, with the Charged Arrowsing in too quickly, hitting the skeletons.
Without a full health bar, the skeletons hit by this were immediately knocked down, their life forcepletely drained.
Li Yao had already charged his arrows again, in three seconds, he shot another round of Charged Scatter, leaving another dozen or so skeletons on the other side to fall.
“What kind of ghost skill is this, how does a Charged Arrow have scatter effects?”
Illusion God waved his Magic Wand to summon new skeletons while carefully shifting, not giving Li Yao any chance to kill him.
He had to look at various game materials every day, and naturally, he needed to be familiar with each ss’s skill set. He had ess to a lot of information collected by yers and provided by game officials, but he had never heard of any elite branch having such an effect.
Of course, he wouldn’t know that up until now, there was only one Dark Ranger – Li Yao. If Li Yao didn’t talk about it, they naturally wouldn’t know about the Dark Ranger’s attributes.
“Guess?” Li Yao naturally wouldn’t tell him.
“Useless, I still have plenty of mana left, I can summon two to three skeletons in a second, you won’t be able to kill them all. But as long as I have a few seconds to get close to you, you’ll be instantly killed under concentrated fire.”
That’s how he put it, but in order not to give Li Yao a chance, Illusion God had already dispersed all his pets, except for the Stone Demon in front of him, as much as possible to render Li Yao’s scatter less effective.<div>
And Li Yao didn’t continue to use scatter anyway, instead he bent the bow and set the arrow quickly, killing the skeletons at the very front one by one.
“Your performance today is indeed stunning and strong. Although my spiritual power is not on par with yours, the other aspects are still okay. If you have no other methods, then today’s match will end here.” As Illusion God spoke, his Stone Demon was already within a hundred yards of Li Yao.
Li Yao kept shooting at the skeletons whileughing, “Illusion God, do you really think the skill I just used took that long to cast, just for that effect?”
The color drained from Illusion God’s face as he said, “Summoning Arrow? No, that doesn’t make sense.”
“You’ve guessed it, but you don’t believe it. However, whether you believe it or not won’t change the oue.” With Li Yao’s words, all the skeletons on the ground immediately got up with a rustling sound.
They were thenmandeered by Li Yao, dozens of skeletons swiftly charged towards the long-distance skeletons at the rear.
Even though the spectators had already been shaken by the sessive waves of shock, they still couldn’t help but gasp.
It instantly came to their minds that this wasn’t just a Charged Arrow with a scattering effect, it even had a summoning function.
Illusion God was caught off guard. Although he didn’t know the name of the Death ck Arrow, he knew that Li Yao had an arrow that could summon the undead. However, this time he was left unprepared…
PS: Thanks to a few friends for the generous rewards. The additional updates will be noted; as soon as I return from out of town, I’ll make up for them.
