Chapter 799 No Winner
Hayden did not wish to be at odds with Medicine God Sect if given the choice.
“You should just give up on your pursuit, as we will never hand him over to you. I will give you two
choices; either you bring your people and leave this ce, or you die here,” Axton snapped in a frigid
tone.
There was clearly no room for any discussion.
Hayden was stumped to silence.
“How insolent of Medicine God Sect! What do you take the other ns for?”
Den narrowed his eyes at Axton at thetter’s outright threat.
Axton looked at Den and furrowed his brows slightly. “Who are you? Are you a backup of Hayden
Xuereb?”
“This is master of the Turcoln n, Master Den Naberhaus. The very Curtis whom Kai murdered was
Master Naberhaus’ most prized disciple. He is here to seek revenge against Kai as well,” Hayden
pointed at Den and introduced him to the elders of the sect.
Axton and the elders’ expressions darkened slightly at the mention of the Turcoln n.
Den was a master of magecraft, and a devious one at that. He would deploy all forms of resources, be
it talismans, arcane arrays, charms, and even energy of heaven and earth to fight, unlike martial artists.
Thetter only relied on their own power, and even powerful ones like Martial Arts Grandmasters, relied
on bursts of their own energy to fight.
Hence, there was a notable difference between martial artists and magecraft practitioners. In fact, most
martial artists were wise enough to steer clear of magecraft practitioners.
Even though Axton and the elders were Martial Arts Grandmasters, they were clueless about magecraft.
Hence, they would lose even if Den were to craft the simplest illusion array. Therefore, they were
bewildered at the mention of Den from the Turcoln n.
“Master Naberhaus, we offer our deepest apologies for the killing of your dearest disciple. We would
dly offer our most sincerepensation for your loss, even if it means giving away ten of our
revitalizing pills to you. Kai Chance has been anointed as the new Lord of Medicine God Sect. If you
insist on killing him, all of us here at Medicine God Sect will be left with no choice but to go all out and
put up a good fight to defend our newly anointed lord,” Axton said in a rather courteous manner.
Axton’s remarks left Hayden and Den speechless, especially Hayden.
After all, thepensation offered by Axton was far too generous to reject. If Den were to agree to
the terms, it would leave the Empyrean Sect to fight against Kai alone, making it a rather futile attempt.
“Mr. Knox, do not take us for a fool. How is it possible that Kai has be the new Lord of Medicine
God Sect? Do not think that your ridiculous im will deter us from going through with the fight. It is an
eye for an eye situation that we’re dealing with here. He has killed my son and Master Naberhaus’
dearest disciple, and we demand him to pay in blood!”
Hayden turned to Den and said, “Master Naberhaus, do not fall prey to their false ims. Kai is
nothing but an ignorant young man. He cannot possibly be the Lord of Medicine God Sect. They are
spewing nonsense and trying to drive a wedge between us so that they can deal with us one by one!”
Den said nothing as he transfixed his stare at Axton. After some time, he finally uttered, “I do not care
who this Kai is for he has to die. If you do not wish for blood to be spilled at Medicine God Sect, I would
like to advise you to hand the man over. I promise that I will never bring trouble upon the sect.”
Den did not believe in Axton’s im that Kai was anointed as the new Lord of Medicine God Sect as
well.
It was clear as day that the elders present were much stronger than the young man. Why would they be
at Kai’s beck and call?

It simply did not make any sense.
“Master Naberhaus, if you do not believe it, then I am afraid we are left with no choice but to fight you to
death,” Axton dered as he nced at Timothy to his side.
The second-ranking elder took out something from his pocket and threw it up into the air, drawing
sparkles in the sky.
