“Is that all you can do?” asked Jared. His eyes shone with dissatisfaction.
Stones were nothing. Heck, Quintus could have gathered metal, and Jared would still destroy
everything with one punch.
Quintusughed aloud when he saw that look on Jared’s face. “Don’t assume that you can easily crush
me simply because I am covered in mere stones. Trying after me if you don’t believe me.”
Quintus threw his punch, which was the size of a small hill, and smashed it right in Jared’s direction.
Thetter clenched his fist at the sight of that. Golden light kept radiating around him.
He jumped and met the stone fist in midair.
As far as Jared was concerned, that punch was more than enough to destroy the entire stone exterior
and turn it into dust.
The truth, however, was not what he expected.
When the two fists touched, Jared sensed an overwhelming pressure on his arm, and he fell right back
down to the ground.

Quintus’ punch drove Jared deep into the ground right away.
A hole that was several meters deep appeared, and Jared was buried underneath the rocks at the
bottom of that hole.
“Hah, that stupid youngster. He actually thought that I used puny rocks as armor?”
Quintusughed boisterously upon seeing Jared buried deep in the ground.
At the bottom of the mountain, Xavier frowned.
He didn’t realize that Quintus was that powerful. I guess Jared can’t handle it on his own.
“Have the Heavenly Net ready. Do not let Quintus escape,” instructed Xavier softly.
His subordinates fished their golden ropes out once more and were ready to attack at a moment’s
notice.

Jared got out from underneath the stones and stared at Quintus as a hint of bewilderment shone in his
eyes.

The former simply didn’t understand it. Why couldn’t his punch destroy those puny rocks?
Quintus didn’t look too good when he saw Jared standing there without any wounds.
“He truly is tough…”
Xavier couldn’t help admiring Jared a little when he saw the man standing there without a scratch.
“I will not surrender…”
Aggressiveness shone in Jared’s eyes. His body instantly turned into a ball of golden light, and he sped
around. He was behind Quintus when he mercilessly threw his punch at Quintus’ back.
Quintus had basically turned into a stone giant that was several meters tall, so his size and weight had
increased tremendously. The downside was that he would inevitably be slower.
Jared took advantage of that to go around Quintus and ambush him.

When Jarednded his punch, something unexpected happened and surprised him. All anyone saw
was Jared punching Quintus’ back, but that didn’t hurt Quintus at all. Instead, a tremendous wave of
energy fired back at Jared and sent him flying.
Jared’s body looked like a cannonball as it flew into the air and crushed into the ground.
The entire mountain shook as Jared, once more, became buried deep under the ground.
Quintus turned around and sneered at Jared, “Hah! Don’t bother wasting your energy. You will never
break through my armor.”
Jared got back up. He endlessly scanned the monster hovering in front of him.
Still, he couldn’t understand what was going on. What could Quintus possibly have done to those
stones to make them even stronger than steel?
And then there was the wave of energy that fired back at Jared. He could sense that the energy didn’t
come from Quintus. Instead, it emanated from those stones.
Jared gritted his teeth and flung his body forward. His golden fist looked as though it could prate
anything, and it was flying toward Quintus.
Boom!
Another loud bang came, and the entire mountain shook. Quintus didn’t even budge. He took Jared’s
punch head-on, but even then, Jared was sent flying.
That was when Jared’s internal organs began acting up.
“Hahaha, I wonder how many punches you can deliver in your state? You will be at my mercy once
you’ve depleted your energy.”
Quintusughed boisterously once more.
