    The overpowering force hurled Jared’s body into the air and peeled off arge surface of his scale from


    his chest.“Jared!”


    “Mr. Chance!”


    Millie and Cecilia gasped with anxiousness when they saw Davidnding a solid blow on Jared.


    Jared’s back crashed onto the ground heavily. “Don’te here.” He stopped the women.


    There was a concave around Jared’s chest, a clear sign of a few broken ribs.


    Blood spluttered from his mouth as the energy within his body became erratic.


    The damage David’s attack caused had exceeded Jared’s expectations.


    He would’ve suffered more severe damage if it weren’t for Golem Body and his tough body.


    Jared wiped away the blood staining the corner of his lips as he slowly rose to his feet.


    David eyed Jared with a raised brow. “You could take my attack. It looks like your body is really tough,”


    he said in a surprised tone.


    David didn’t be a Martial Arts Marquis recently. He was one for seven long years. That was why


    none of the families and sects dared to offend the Norton family, even though the Norton family wasn’t


    part of the Warriors Alliance.


    David could be considered a master Martial Arts Marquis. He was already well known back in


    Jadeborough.


    However, he was shocked to see Jared could withstand his attack.


    “You’re too weak.”


    Jared stared down at David coldly. I won’t give up and surrender even if he is much stronger than me.


    David’s face looked cold. He didn’t think Jared would be so stubborn to not admit defeat and still


    challenge him even at that stage.

    David’s face twisted with anger, then disappeared from his spot. Almost an instantter, he appeared in


    front of Jared.


    Jared had his gaze fixed on David from the moment David sessfullynded a blow on him, not


    letting his guard down. All the hairs on Jared’s body stood on ends when David moved.


    “Sacred Light Fist!”


    Even though he couldn’t see where David was, Jared unleashed another punch with a roar.


    Jared knew it would be toote if he attacked after he caught sight of David.


    A golden glow shrouded Jared’s fist, and a golden dragon was swimming up his arm.


    Jared had unleashed the Power of Dragons.


    “The Power of Dragons!”


    David’s gaze sharpened at the oing assault andunched a blow to Jared’s chest.


    David’s attack hadprised all the internal energy within him. Even a Martial Arts Marquis would


    have a hard time withstanding David’s attack much less a Semi Martial Arts Marquis like Jared.

    An ear-splitting sound echoed across the sky. Jared’s arm twisted into an odd angle before his body


    was thrown backward into the air again.


    On the other hand, David had moved from his spot slightly this time around. His body was swaying


    slightly. He also felt a throbbing pain in his palm.


    Surprise crossed David’s eyes as he gazed at Jared with disbelief.

    Greed clouded David’s gaze.


    Jared looked down at his twisted limb and popped it back into ce with a shove.


    I could barely withstand David’s attack with all the Power of Dragons. I know now that the Power of


    Dragons can’t support me in the rest of the fight.


    “Hand me the draconic essence within you, brat, and I’ll let you die swiftly. How about it?”


    David had gained an interest in the draconic essence within Jared.


    “Someone like you doesn’t deserve the draconic essence. You’re a thief like your son. The entire


    Norton family are lowly criminals!” Jared cussed at David.


    “You’re asking for death, you b**tard!


    The anger within David rose upon hearing the cuss.
