Episode 99.
Jung Si-woo received Seria’s phone call and nned where they would meet up. Jung Si-woo washed off and put his clothes on. (What was different from the previous Korean yer representative meeting was that he wore a tighter dress shirt this time). As they headed to the meet-up location, a limousine arrived for them.
“Mr. Si-woo, you’re here.”
When Seria, who came out of the limousine, bowed her head instead of being rude, Jung Si-woo felt little goosebumps from this strange feeling he had never felt before in his life.
“I’ll take you this way.”
“Why so polite…?”
Jung Si-woo had saved money from clearing the Ant Cave dungeon, but he didn’t know how to spend it yet. He thought for a moment and handed his card over to Seria.
“If you need to spend money, use this card.”
“What? I already have enough…I mean, thank you. You can leave it with me.”
Seria took care of his card. There was no problem because he had an extra. Soo Ah-rin looked at Seria with a strange expression but soon shook her head and crawled back into Jung Si-woo’s arms. She didn’t have to consume her mana just to stay in her human form.
“Oh, Si-woo!”
“You’re here.”
Lee Seo-hee was already in the limousine, though that was no surprise because he called her. Rather, it was more surprising that Marina wasn’t there, but it turned out that Marina didn’te to Korea because she had to tag along with the U.S. yer representatives. Anyway, the important person now was Lee Seo Hee.
“You’ve grown more in that short time.
“Seria is awesome, Si-woo. Marina, Seria, and I were together, and we weren’t afraid of anything. I didn’t expect the three of us to clear the 31st stage of the dungeon.”
“Good, I’m d you survived.”
He got in the car thinking about giving Lee Seo-hee a neck protector. Maybe because it was because he got the sense of touch skill, but the cushion felt so soft. It was no joke.
“It feels like I’m lying on my couch…”
“There’s no sofa in the rest area.”
“That’s what I said.”
The car started and almost immediately stopped, or at least that’s what Jung Si-woo felt. Seria opened the car door, and nearby they could see their ne waiting.
“We’re here.”
“You know, why is Seria so polite to you?”
“It just happened somehow.”
They arrived at the airport by limousine, took a private ne, and headed straight for New York. It was a luxury he never experienced before. Lee Seo-hee, who was once the master of a guild, also felt awkward, but she epted a ss of wine from the stewardess.
“I didn’t pay much attention to money management. Our guild were newbies, and to catch up with other guilds, we had to challenge the dungeons constantly…I’m sure we’ve all made quite a lot of money, but we went too far without taking any leisure time.”
Lee Seo-hee looked sour. He couldn’tfort her with any words, but he was a little frustrated because he couldn’t even touch her. However, when she saw Jung Si-woo with such an ambiguous expression, Lee Seo-hee smiled.
“What do you care? You look stupid.”
“Yes, I am stupid.”
“But I really think that side of you…”
“You really don’t like it? I see, okay.”
Just as the atmosphere between the two was getting better, Soo Ah-rin came down on Jung Si-woo’sp, cutting off her words in a heavy and serious voice. Her eyes were decidedly not calm.
“We don’t have to have a painful conversation with each other, so let’s go quietly.”
“Wow…”
The ne took off soon. Since the flight time was long, Jung Si-woo decided to close his eyes and train the five senses skills slowly.
“Oh, Si-woo…iiiikk.”
“Uhmm.”
Lee Seo-hee wanted to talk to him more. She gave Soo Ah-rin a dirty look because she thought that Jung Si-woo was ignoring her due to Soo Ah-rin’s useless intervention. Soo Ah-rin also responded with a fierce look that she couldn’t show to Jung Si-woo. Seria in the back seat stopped the fighting with a lively voice.
“Mr. Si-woo is concentrating, so don’t disturb him and be quiet.”
“Why the hell is Seria doing this for Si-woo?”
“Quiet.”
“Okay.”
How long had it been until now? Most of the group fell asleep except for Jung Si-woo. This was because Lee Seo-hee and Seria were in the Sky Castle dungeon until they came here, and Soo Ah-rin and Yong Se-ha were also worried about Jung Si-woo so that they couldn’t sleep properly. While everyone was enjoying a moment of rxation and resting, Jung Si-woo deeply explored thebination of his five senses and intuition.
‘Maybe there’s something I’ve been missing. I seeded in harmonizing the body with visual skills and connecting the five senses with the corresponding sensory organs, and I’m sure that’s what it’s supposed to look like…but maybe it’s notplete.’
His passive skills so far had maximized his five senses and even created abilities that weren’t there — skills of overwhelming ability devoted to the passive skill’s purpose of strengthening the body. However, if you asked whether someone could reach a higher level than Jung Si-woo, the answer was ‘probably not.’
‘At least this wasn’t how the dragon looked. My body was already indistinguishable from the passive skill. But now my body, and my skills…’
The vision was dependent on the eye, the taste on the tongue, so on and so forth. He thought he had no choice when making those skills, but the previous resonance was made in a form that went beyond the limits of his body’s organs. Yes, Jung Si-woo was still obsessed with the concept of a material body.
His skills and body should be one, but as a result of the training, he made his bodyckingpared to his skills. Since he simply tried to make a physical connection with mana, the five sense skills were only halfplete.
In that resonance, his five senses and intuitionbined to be a skill. As long as you knew the result, it wasn’t difficult to calcte it. His five senses and intuition resulted from the five senses. The sense that no longer binds itself to a body part…
At the moment he was approaching his answer, his intuition skill was activated and shone sharply. It was a high danger signal. If he hadn’t been focusing on passive skills, he would’ve beente to notice!
“Seria, Lee Seo-hee.”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
Seria replied with her eyes open as if she hadn’t been asleep at all. On the contrary, Lee Seo-hee instinctively held on to Jung Si-woo’s arm and responded with a cute voice, but now she had no time to y with her. Jung Si-woo ordered them urgently.
“Make a barrier outside the ne. On the west side.”
“Okay.”
“Oh, okay!”
They both started at the same time, but Seriapleted it faster. The huge mana barrier was created on the outside of the ne just by her spreading her palms forward. It was reliable without him having to check the strength.
Unlike Marina, who had only learned gun skills and how to use mana bullets, Seria was a technician who dealt with mana in many ways. Although it had a lower energy density than a mana bullet shooter and had less direct power than pure wizards, she gained fame for her fast speed and significant destructive power.
In addition to Seria, there were quite a few other technicians, but Seria, the loser in the western United States, proved her outstanding ability among them. Perhaps this time, their difference became more evident as she robbed Louisos of mana. However, the barrier created by Seria was broken in an instant. Lee Seo-hee’s barrier, which waspleted a littleter than that, wrapped around the ne tighter, but it was soon broken by a series of attacks.
“Hmph!?”
The most embarrassing thing about this situation was that it was unknown where the attack wasing from. Seria’s face turned red with humiliation and anger. She tried to create a barrier again, but before that, another powerful attack hit her, and this time it cut off the ne’s spine.
“Oppa!”
“Si-Si-woo!”
“Come on, for real!”
The ne broke into two pieces, bringing a terrible shock to all the people in it. yers instinctively spread their wings and flew up into the air, but Jung Si-woo and the other crew were swept away by it without any help.
“Aahhhhh!”
“Hmph!”
Small things such as water cups were thrown into the air in an instant. Seeing the seats tilted 90 degrees and the stewardess waiting next to them floating in the air like some cartoon, Jung Si-woo quickly stretched out his one arm and snatched her lightly as he gritted his teeth. One of his arms held onto the bottom of the seat.
“Is this how American yers normally greet you!?”
“It would’ve developed into a national problem if so! They aren’t yers!”
There would be no problem even if the yers jumped outside, but the problem was the captain and other crew members on the ne. Seria also hurriedly shot a string of mana to secure the crew one by one, starting with the stewardess saved by Jung Si-woo.
“Yong Se-ha, protect the people!”
“Okay, Hyeong-nim!”
“I’ll help you too!”
Lee Seo-hee created arge old-fashioned barrier to protect the people that she gathered together. It was possible because the moment the barrier created to protect the ne was broken, she immediately grasped the situation and formed a barrier to protect the people.
“We’ve got everyone! Even the captain!”
“I’ll protect these people from now on, Hyeong-nim!”
“Okay, you got them.”
Jung Si-woo held the ceiling with one arm and opened his eyes wide. He activated his visual skill to the maximum so he could capture the enemy still far beyond the distance! Then, a thin, transparent film…a huge group of flying monsters, with wings like that of a dragonfly, came into his eyes. The attacks were from a lump of energy that popped out of their mouths. A very fast and powerful mana bullet ovepped several times, breaking the barrier and even messing up the ne.
“I found them.”
“I’lle with you, Si-woo!”
“Protect the barrier for now. There’s going to be more attacksing!”
“Okay!”
While Seria made several barriers everywhere at the same time to prevent the enemy’s attack, Jung Si-woo looked at Yong Se-ha and Lee Seo-hee crashing down to the far ground with determination to protect the crew as he took his phantom bike out. The ne, which lost all its passengers, was thrown into the air in two pieces.
“If that thing goes down to the ground, it’s going to be a big problem.”
“We’re still above the sea, Mr. Si-woo. It’ll be all right.”
However, Jung Si-woo let out a bigger sigh when he heard that. She’s saying they haven’t even reached the maind yet! No wonder he thought the travel was toofortable. But he didn’t know the ne would break apart.
“Does that have air insurance?”
“The damages from the monster attack is probably hard topensate…”
“Okay.”
Jung Si-woo grabbed the rifle of the thunder god from his inventory.
“Then we’ll have to take it from them.”
The targets were monsters with dragonfly wings. Without hesitation, Jung Si-woo pulled the trigger and activated the critical bullet. The murderous mana bullet crossed the distance in a sh and prated the center of the group of monsters. With the monsters running in astonishment, Jung Si-woo calmly murmured as he prepared his next bullet.
“Let’s get started.”
He was already excited and couldn’t stand the monsters who interfered with his trip to the U.S.
