Chapter 261

Not worthy to carry Hayden''s shoes?

Matthew had been putting up with Sara''s behavior throughout the journey and had run out of patience. He retorted coldly, "You''re belittling a driver to elevate that Hobbes guy. Don''t you think it''s a joke?" With that, he turned and walked toward the gate.

Sara nced at Matthew''s retreating figure in shock. How dared he say such things?

Seeing that Matthew had almost reached the gate, she shouted angrily, "Stop right there!"

Matthew acted as if he hadn''t heard her and continued walking toward the gate.

Sara nced back at Hayden, wanting him to send someone to teach Matthew a lesson. But seeing Hayden busy talking to several people, she abandoned the idea of bothering him.

Fuming, she chased after Matthew and caught up to him just as he reached the car.

Gritting her teeth, she yanked open the car door and sat inside, pping the seat heavily as she yelled, "Why didn''t you walk me out? And how dare you, a mere driver, talk back to me? Do you know the consequences? Do you understand your ce?" Matthew said nothing. He just started the car, shifted gears, and drove off.

Sara frowned. This driver was bing increasingly outrageous! He''d even started the car without hermand. If she didn''t teach him a lesson, her mood would be ruined for the day.

"When we get back to Wealthwave Group, I''ll tell to Rachel to fire you. I won''t let you off for disrespecting me and making me upset."

She then leaned back and closed her eyes. Just looking at Matthew now annoyed her, so she''d rather shut her eyes and not look at him.

The car zoomed by, overtaking one vehicle after another. After some time, the car finally stopped.

Sara opened her eyes and saw Matthew still sitting in the car. She frowned again. "What are you doing sitting there? Don''t you know how to open the door for me, you blind idiot?" With a gloomy face, Matthew got out and opened the back door of the car.

Sara snorted coldly. "Bastard! Only after a scolding do you know what to do."

She extended one foot to the ground and elegantly stepped out of the car.

Looking around, she noticed there wasn''t a single streetlight. In the distance, she saw the ck silhouette of mountains.

She immediately felt something was wrong and scanned her surroundings. They were in the mountains.

Instantly, a cold sweat broke out on her back. She quickly fished for her phone and dialed Hayden''s number. But there was no response.

    Her phone showed no signal.

Petrified, she turned to Matthew and asked, "You... Why did you bring me here? W-What are you nning to do?"

Matthew rolled up his sleeves and slowly walked toward Sara, asking in a low voice, "You called me a bastard just now, correct?"

Sara took a step back, frightened.

"What are you going to do? You

better think it through. I''m from the

rk family in Khoitwood. If anything happens to me, you can''t bear the responsibility!"

Matthew snapped, "Responsibility, my ass. I don''t care if you''re from the rk family or the Hobbese family. If you piss me off, I''ll deal with you just the same!"

With that, he inched closer toward Sara.

Sara was terrified and shouted with all her might, "Don''te near me! What are you doing? Don''t touch me,

or it will be the death ove

Matthew lunged forward and grabbed Sara by the cor. "Do you want to die?"

Sara''s legs went weak. She had never encountered someone so daring before. "I don''t want to die... Don''t kill me!"
