Chapter 87. 10 Commandments


    Rei retracted his Divine sage mode as he walked towards the group.


    "Hey dad, you got your powers back yet?" Rei asked as he looked over to Meliodas.


    "Yep but I still need a bit more training to gain some control over it." Meliodas said with a grin.


    Rei nodded as he looked over to Merlin.


    "Merlin long time no see, 16 years in this world I believe." Rei smiled towards Merlin.


    "Hey Rei chan, seems like you''ve changed quite a bit." Merlin said observing Rei''s current body.


    "Yep, hey Merlin. Can you help me with a small favour." Rei asked.


    "Go on." Merlin said willing to hear him out.


    "I want you to teleport me to the 10mandments for 10 to 20 seconds and bring me back." Rei said shocking everyone.


    "ARE YOU CRAZY!!" Hawk shouted.


    "Nope, trust me it''s just a small greeting for them." Rei said.


    "Hmm ok, but 15 seconds is the longest I''ll let you go." Merlin said as she trusted Rei as well as the fact that he is immortal.


    "Thanks." Rei smiled as he entered Divine sage mode once more. This time Rei also brought out Tengoku.


    "Bankai - Nanatsu no Tengoku." Rei said shocking everyone from the sudden increase of holy magic in the air, especially Meliodas as it should be impossible for someone to use both holy and darkness of the goddess and demon ns.


    Soon the light dispearsed as Rei could be seen in his bankai form with 14 wings behind him, long hair, a halo as well as markings to show his sage mode.


    "Merlin san get ready." Rei said as Merlin nodded and prepared her magic.


    Rei then urged the dark energy to wrap around him once more but this time the wings became embroidered with ck and red lines with his hair turning ck in some areas. Rei then turned the wings into 14 swords that floated near him.


    "Eight inner gates : 4th gate open!!!" Rei shouted as an additionalyer of green energy exploded from him.


    "Merlin now!" Rei called out as he could only sustain this fusion of forms for half a minute currently.


    Soon Rei saw that he was infront of the tenmandments shocking them. Quickly sending the 14 swords out, Rei constructed a seal around the whole area suppressing themandments.


    Rei then shed towards Gand as he arms became a blur. Suddenly, countless cuts appeared everywhere on Gand''s armour shocking him. Greyroad tried to use his ability to keep Rei locked in here but Rei snapped his fingers and the chains disappeared.


    Zeldris and Fraudrin shed towards Rei one trying to cut and one trying to punch. Rei pinched Zeldris'' sword and blocked Fraudrin with one of his tails. Rei then manipted two of his tails and pierced the duo in the stomach beforeunching them away.


    Derieri shed near him as she was 30 hits through herbo star. Turning his body to mist, Rei dodges easily before slmming her in the sides with all of his tails causing her to crash through the forest. Monspeet fired magic towards Rei to which Rei opened his mouth and ate it before firing it back at Monspeet shocking him.


    Drole tried to use giant magic to manipte the earth to attack Rei, using his concept of nature. Rei stopped Drole using his magic before shed near him and punched his in the chest causing Drole of kneel down in pain.


    Jumping backwards Rei dodged Zeldris'' sword strike before countering with his own attack. The two swords shed causing sparks to appear in the air with Zeldris slowly getting more and more wounds on his body.


    Estarossa shed behind Rei as he cut down with multiple swords that he had summoned.


    "You''re not the only one that can do that." Rei said as he summoned multiple noble phantasms blocking Estarossa''s sword before hitting him with his tailunching Estarossa away.


    Taking this chance, Msc tried to extract Rei''s soul but a sudden explosion of fire surprised her.


    "Sunshine." Rei said simple as he used Escanor''s power burning Msc as she cried out in pain.


    Rei sent a shockwave out around him as he felt time was soon going to be up.


    "That was a little greeting from me to you. See ya." Rei said simply as retracted his 14 swords to float around him once more as he disappeared leaving a group of woundedmandments angry at what had just happened.


    Rei soon reappeared in the druids location and saw a group of shocked people looking at him. Turning off all of his abilities, Rei sat down heavily as he is mostly drained of his magic.


    "Rei! That was amazing!! How were you able to fight those monsters like that!!" Gilthunder said shocked as Howzer nodded.


    Rei only shrugged because he couldn''t be bothered to exin it.


    "Oh yeah, Merlin. I should be able to release you of themandments pretty easily." Rei called out to Merlin.


    "That would be helpful." Merlin said as she smiled.


    King stayed silent as he didn''t know what to do with the fact that Rei was both demon and angel.


    "Say dad, where is Diane nee san and Ban nii san." Rei asked.


    "Diane has lost her memories of us because of Gowther." King gnashed his teeth in anger.


    "I can sort that out but what about Ban nii san." Rei said causing King to widen his eyes in anticipation.


    "Not sure, apparentlyst time he was at the fairy kings forest." Meliodas said.


    ''It should be time for Ban and ine to meet again soon which means Escanor is next.'' Rei thought as he nodded.


    "Well I''m gonna go sleep for a bit, wake me up when you guys are done." Rei said as he waved goodbye and went to rest to recover his mana.
