Chapter 2: Novice Quest
<em><i>Profession: Priest</i></em>
<em><i>Rank: Ordinary</i></em>
<em><i>Attributes: Strength +1/level, Physique +1/level, Agility +1/level, Wisdom +2/level.</i></em>
<em><i>Exclusive Talent(s): [Holy Light Faith] (Normal-grade) With the holy lights blessings, increases your mana by 20%]</i></em>
<em><i>Profession Skill(s): [Healing LV1] (Normal-grade) Heals one unit, restoring [10 + Wisdom * 50% of the users health], costs 10 MP, cooldown of 3 seconds. 0/100 EXP.</i></em>
His character starting stats were very low, and there were no free attribute points at all. After all, his ss was a normal one; what more could Su Ming expect from the ss?
In <Origin>, the quality division of things like equipment, talents and skills were pretty much the same.
At this moment, the systems prompts rang out continuously.
"<em><i>Congrattions on creating your characterCang Hai! The character status bar has been generated.</i></em>"
"<em><i>The system will be assigning camps based on your login location, and you will be transported to the FU server of the Ancient River Gxy</i></em>."
Su Mings eyes darkened.
<em><i>Current Location: Light Dragon Camp, 10th WorldAaron Town, Sacred Light Kingdom.</i></em>
After regaining his vision, he found himself in a small town.
The surrounding light flickered as more yers entered the game, and soon, the Resurrection Square became overcrowded with new yers.
WTF, t-this is the world of <Origin>? Heck, this feels too real! Its simply like the real world!
These NPCdies are so pretty, hehe.
Uh, did aliens just deliver us virtual games? I mean, who hasnt yed a few virtual games these days?
All humans were assigned to the 10th World under the Light Dragon Camp which meant that the distribution of camps was no different from that of his previous life.
In <Origin>, there were four major yer camps with each representing the four Ancient Chaotic* Dragon Gods: Dragon Gods of Light, Destiny, Death and Life. [TLN: <> hun-dun as in Chaos Theory, I guess.]
Of course, hidden camps existed too.
But the rtionship between the Hidden Camps and the yers Camps were adversarial.
Su Ming breathed a relieved sigh after finding out that the locations didnt change.
Early on, he remembered the important quests in Aaron Town, such as the rewarding local quests and multiple hidden quests, as well as the way to obtain the Combat Priest profession.
Its a pity that this quest could only be triggered after reaching Level 20.
For now, learning attack skills was his priority.
"If I remember correctly, there''s a quest in the church at Aaron Town that rewards the Gold-grade attack skill of the Priest profession. However, 20,000 gold is needed to trigger the quest.
Speaking of gold, Su Ming became a bit distressed yet again.
<Origin> had no recharge channels. The yers who wanted to top-up their gold would have to go to a third-party tform to purchase it.
However, this method could lead to the exposure of their real identity.
The yer could be the target of greed for everyone.
So, there were three remaining ways to acquire arge amount of gold: from selling rare equipment, participating in special missions and discovering secret treasure chests.
Lets see
"Okay, the Mayor''s chain quest rewards a lot of gold, and the hidden quest of the Dwarven Tribe next door also rewards a lot of gold."
Su Min tried recalling the rare quests he had seen in his previous life.
At present, he was only at Level 1 and wasnt eligible to receive quests, at least until he hadpleted the novice quests.
Looking around, Su Ming squeezed from the crowd until he reached the Novice Guide.
Hello, adventurers! Wee to Aaron Town! Recently, the wolves in the ck Crow Forest have been attacking the residents. Will you help the town clean up the wolves and keep the residents safe?"
The Novice Guide said with concern.
<em><i>Ding!</i></em>
"<em><i>You have triggered the novice questDispose the Wild Wolves.</i></em>
<em><i>Mission description: Go to the ck Crow Forest and kill 50 wild wolves and deliver 50 wild wolf carcasses to the town mayor</i></em>."
Please rest assured and leave the task to me.
Su Ming left for the Resurrection Square after getting this task.
On the street
Su Ming clicked on the character status bar and a screen popped up in front of him, disying his stats and his equipment.

"The starting stats of an ordinary human are too low."
Su Ming sighed.
In <Origin>, the human race was ranked as one of the weakest yable characters. Some races, for example, the Titan Race, started out as a character with superior stats.
There was nothing to be done to their inborn superiority. Afterall, God made us all different.
Of course, there were many ways to improve the quality of ones race.
Lets check out the effect of<em><i>Lifes Grace</i></em>.
And so, Su Ming raised his hand and casted a healing spell on himself.
<em><i>+22!</i></em>
<em><i>Ding! Congrattions, youve been buffed with</i></em><em><i>Increased Strength Lv1!</i></em>
Along with the system prompt, Su Ming''s status bar gained an additional fist'' icon, with the number 1'', which presumably stands for the buff level, in the portrait form.
Increased Strength
Grade: Ordinary
Level: 1/100
Effect: Increases the yer''s strength by 1 point. Lasts forever. Cannot be removed.
A buff that increases strength Not bad.
After waiting for the cooldown to refresh, Su Ming casted another healing spell on himself.
