Chapter 30: Dying for the sake of power?

    The emperor could be seen standing atop the hair of the zing phoenix while Instructor Han stood at the edge of the stone tform. Inbat mode, the emperor seemed to have regained his blood-red hair and his body seemed buffed and muscr, giving him a fierce aura. Instructor Han stood behind the fire pirs and spread his spatial Zone all over the stone tform, this prevented Blink from using spatial magic to escape!


    In this fight, Instructor Han only focused on maintaining his spatial Zone coupled with the constant attacks bombarded on Blink and Clovis, they didn''t have enough time to break the spatial Zone.


    "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?" Blink growled while hiding behind the massive golden cross with Clovis.


    "I think we should focus on defeating the enemy before cursing don''t you think so too?" Clovis said while struggling to keep the mes pouring down at them at bay.


    "Judging from his power output, the beast emperor should be at the mid-grade of the gold realm while in this world he should be at the fifth sky of the spirit realm" Blink said with a serious expression on his face.


    "And ording to their knowledge, there should be the champion, Demigod, god, true God and King God realm if we judge this fairly, the champion realm should be equivalent to our demigod realm I would love to deny this but these people have the potential to surpass our world and our Gods it''s just like we feared" Clovis said as he ced his hand on the massive golden cross, empowering it with his mana.


    "If that''s what you truly think, I believe we should kill this man now!" Blinkughed as he summoned the death scythe.

    Suddenly Blink dashed forward, dashing past the golden cross but the mes could not reach him since he was shrouded in a darkish purple veil made of aura the moment he summoned the death scythe.


    ''What the hell is that power? Could it be their ims about having God realm masters is true?'' Emperor Fei couldn''t help but feel wary of the weapon in Blink''s hand.


    Today he has been met with two surprises, one was the golden crucifix which carried the purest form of the light magic he has ever seen in the past five hundred centuries, and now he has seen the strongest form of dark magic as well in the ck scythe. Even the great emperor couldn''t help but believe the possibility of these two having gods as their mentors.


    "Fall!" Blink screamed as he swung the death scythe towards the massive fiery Phoenix, releasing a mass of darkish purple aura which tore through the mes, heading straight to the head of the Phoenix where Emperor Fei was standing.

    Sensing the incredible power in the attack, emperor Fei didn''t hesitate to jump off the fire phoenix''s head, diving down at Blink with a fist shrouded in mes.


    "It''s over!" Blink growled like a mad beast as he poured in more mana into the terrifying magic weapon in his hand.

    Pointing the scythe towards the iing beast emperor, he summoned a powerful beam of darkish purple aura which was at least three to four times the size of the beast emperor. Given the distance between them, Blink concluded that the old man won''t be able to dodge even with the help of his flight ability and to his greatest surprise, Emperor Fei didn''t even attempt to dodge. Instead, he kept shooting towards Blink.


    "Zone!" Instructor Han''s voice suddenly reached their ears and out of nowhere, Emperor Fei swapped ces with one of the ten weak members of the invaders, forcing Blink and Clovis to watch as the beam of dark aura consume the youth!


    "You!!!!!" Clovis roared furiously and turned to face the man but the beast emperor was already standing right in front of him and before he could react, a scorched hole appeared at the center of his chest!

    Lucien watched anxiously as more explosions rocked the stone tform above, spreading to the entire cave. He couldn''t help but wonder what was going up but he was quite sure that going up there means instant death but that didn''t stop him from watching vigntly, waiting for the emperor''s call like promised.

    A bright blue suddenly tore through the battlefield, shining so bright that it poured shot out of the small ck water pool, catching the attention of the Lucardo and Raizen ns, positioned not too far from the torn forest. At this point, Lucien concluded that the barrier protecting

    Blink shot into the air and past Instructor Han, pushing through the pir of mes without getting burnt.


    "It''s open!" Lucien saw that the veil covering the entrance to the power source was gone. He saw Clovis levitating off the ground with bright golden eyes and a bloody hole on his chest, while Blink also had numerous holes on his body but was shrouded in death aura and they kept fighting the emperor regardless of their injuries.


    "Wind Magic: Wind rider!" Lucien roared as he blew through the battlefield fearlessly, dodging random attacks flying everywhere as he made his way to the entrance to the power source.


    "Where do you think you are going?" Blink''s enrage voice reached his ear, causing Lucien to freeze due to fear!


    Was he going to die for the sake of power?
