Chapter 251: One sided beat down


    "You are dumb..." Derik yawned as he pulled out the zing spear in his chest and gazed at it for a while. He had the urge to destroy this weapon but then he remembered his future ns of reviving two of his most trusted allies, Kaido the former sun god, and Demos the former death guardian spirit. The spear will make a fine weapon for Kaido so Derik chose to keep it!


    His shadow expanded and he let the spear fall, watching it sink into his shadow and vanish.


    Igneel and the rest watched in shock as the hole on his chest began closing at an rming rate! In just mere seconds the wound waspletely healed and spotless, the only problem was the hole on Derik''s mage robe.


    "You running my robe little boy... How do you n to pay for it?" Derik asked with a slight smile on his face!


    Hearing this Igneel felt chills run down his spine and he quickly jumped on his feet and took a few steps back. Gazing at the terrified kid, Derik didn''t know what to do now. He wanted to kill this kid but not this way.


    "What the hell are you?!!" Igneel growled and Derik frowned.


    Does this little brat dare yell at him?


    "I already said I have lived for more than a thousand years... So guess" Derik said with a cruel smile.


    "Humans don''t have such a life span, only dragons do! If you are not human or a dragon, what are you?" Igneel asked.


    "No, no, no... You have got it all wrong... Humans are born with short life spans but when they get stronger, their life spans increase" Derik exined.


    "Cut the crap! Even when they get stronger they cannot reach that level or live that long unless they enter the go... No way" Igneel muttered as his body was overwhelmed with shock and his feet trembled!


    Only humans who have reached the god realm can live this long! How the hell did he end up facing a god?


    No! But a god should be stronger than this!


    But a god shouldn''t be able to stand on this ne of existence unless...

    Numerous thoughts flooded the youngling''s head and Derik just watched in silence and let the kide up with countless assumptions. He couldn''t help butugh in his heart but then he still wore a cold face on the surface.


    "Don''t tell me I am going against a god?" Igneel said with a wide smile that made even Derik confused.


    Is this kid crazy or what? He is forced to face a godly being like him, yet he is not terrified, instead, he is happy.


    "You are crazy... I like it" Derik said with a slight smile on his face.


    In his opinion, Igneel would make a perfect host for his friend, Kaido and he would also need to find a perfect host for Demos. If he wants to progress faster, he needs more capable men by his side and not just Lucien. There is a limit to what both of them can do.


    "I guess I won''t be able to deal with you now" Derik sighed after he realized he can''t afford to kill this kid now.


    How he was going to convince Belize to give up his body for a new soul was more troublesome to him. Or should he settle down for a weaker shadow dragon?


    Maybe he is too greedy to try and make Demos enter a demigod body again. He finally considered the fact that Demos knows nothing of this advanced world and it won''t hurt to let him experience the countless cultivation possibilities of this world.

    His body exploded into red smoke and a rtively huge red dragon appeared! Compared to the elders of the shadow dragon n, this dragon was quite smaller to show he was younger but he had already reached this level!


    "Impressive little runt" Derik said with a smile as he watched the beam of orange mes race towards him.


    DEVOUR!


    Yanking his eyes open hard, Derik took a deep breath, creating a powerful suction force! Allowing him to swallow the entire me whole!

    Derik let out an inhumane roar as he spat out mes, taking the young Igneel by surprise!


    "You!!!" Igneel muttered before he waspletely consumed by the mes!

    "It''s not over yet!" Igneel''s excited voice rang across the hall as his massive dragon body covered in wounds charged out of the mes, swiping its ws at Derik.


    "You are something" Derik said as his eyes let out a bright golden light and a massive golden broadsword appeared in front of Derik, hacking viciously at the red dragon!

    Igneel felt his hand go numb the moment he hit the massive golden sword, causing him to retreat!


    "And who said you can leave?" Derik''s eyes turned pitch-ck once again and countless ck chains erupted from his body, surging towards the red dragon!


    Igneel tried to escape but its hands were caught first and soon its entire body was caught by the chains, pinning it to the ground and even then its eyes were burning fiercely with fighting spirit!


    "Magnificent!" Derik couldn''t help butmend the kid!


    "Right now, I won''t kill you because I have a job for you... This is a warning that the dragons of this world... Tell them Belize, ancestor of the Shadow dragon n has recovered and with the help of two visitors he had dered war against all the dragon ns! Tell them we will be taking back everything that belongs to us! The other dragon ns either surrender or die!... When you are done delivering this message, if you feel like fighting me,e but the next time we fight, you will die" Derik said coldly.


    Only then did Igneel realize the identity of the young man dressed in a purple robe with various tattoos on his body.
