Chapter 28: Entry

The process of Bloodline Assimtion persisted as Raven''s blood underwent a gradual transformation, drop by drop, into an entirely novel substance.
He experienced a peculiar sensation, osciting between numbness and heightened sensitivity.
Sometimes, his body feltpletely unresponsive, as if devoid of any sensation or movement. Conversely, he also experienced heightened sensitivity, where all his senses seemed to be amplified.
asionally, he experienced a sensation of being frozen solid, causing him to tremble. Alternatively, he would experience a feeling of scorching mes engulfing his body, causing fear and difort.
The unusual feelings persisted and grew stronger, eventually causing him to lose his bnce.
He fell onto his knees, overwhelmed by excruciating pain coursing through his body. The bones in his fingers cracked slowly, undergoing a ghastly transformation.
He underwent a noticeable transformation in his physique, where his height had increased a few inches while his overall build remained unchanged.
For quite some time, Raven''s loud roars echoed in the surroundings. However no one was there to listen to his roars.
The duration of his roar remained uncertain as he eventually became unconscious and copsed on the ground in front of the hovering sphere, which was the core of the Bloodline Trial.
....
In his deep slumber, Raven finally felt the same sensation that he hadn''t forgotten. He was once again back in the endless darkness where he had stayed for five straight years when he was in aa.
As he woke up in this ce, he wondered if he had fallen to the same old hell once again. He didn''t even know how long he was going to stay here.
Simultaneously, he was aware that something was not right. Despite the excruciating torment that was pushing him to the brink of insanity, why was he returning to the same ce?
The more he thought about it, the more he felt that something was more to this ce. It was like this ce existed only to keep his mind safe. When he fell in a long slumber, he hadn''t felt the slightest pain.
However, he knew that for his body to be modified for five straight years, the pain should''ve been way worse than what he was feeling now.
He didn''t know what this strange space was, but he really wanted to get out of this ce as soon as possible.
Fortunately, this time he didn''t stay here for the same amount of time as the first time.
He didn''t know how long it had been, when he finally woke up. However, it felt like only a few hours had passed when he regained his senses.
He slowly opened his eyes, noticing his Sword lying next to him. He was on the ground, and the strange sphere was still floating in the distance. However, now there was a barrier around the sphere.
As soon as Raven opened his eyes, the small sphere disappeared, turning into a spatial portal with chaotic energy. It was as if this was the doorway to his real destination.
He forced his body up, only to realize that he did feel different. He felt even stronger and more agile. His senses had be sharper than before.
He could also feel that there was something more inside him... Something that he could feel but not use yet... a strange and scary power that even made him hesitate to investigate it.
As he picked up the Nameless Sword, he realized that the Sword had be even lighter!
It was now as light as the feather, as if it had properly be one with him.
The sword was also able to change weight at his will. With just a single thought, he was able to make the Sword much heavier, to increase the attack strength. However, simrly, he could even make it lighter to increase his attack speed.
He couldn''t just manipte the weight of the Sword, but also the size of the sword! He could make it into a sharp sword, or a heavy Sword.
Another strange phenomenon took ce as soon as he first handed the sword in his hand after awakening his Bloodline.
The Nameless Sword that was covered in some rust previously, changed even more. All the rust started falling apart, revealing another texture underneath.
The Sword was a beautiful shade of silver, with various unknown characters carved on it, seemingly with someone''s blood.
Even though all seven characters that were carved on the sword looked dim, none of them looked ordinary.
Another thing worth noticing was that there was a chain connected to the hilt of the sword, that previously wasn''t there.
The chains made it ufortable to hold the sword. However, something simr to the chains was also seen around the de.
It was as if a dark tattoo of the chain was carved circling around the sharp de of the sword, making it appear as if the Sword was shackled by those chains.
Raven tried to pull the chain from the hilt, but it proved to be impossible. He couldn''t remove it. In the end, he could only give up.
No matter what, one thing was certain... The sword was too eye-catching. Fortunately, he had a scabbard for the sword on his back.
He inserted the sword in the scabbard after making it light to the extent that he could barely feel it on his back.
As he stopped paying attention to his sword, he was finally able to notice his other items which was another surprise.
Most of his items had already been damaged in the constant battles that he had gone through.
However, currently, all his items appeared healed, as if they were in their best condition.
Even his clothes were much cleaner now. There was not a speck of dust at sight. It was as if it was the final gift from the Bloodline Trial to him...
Raven nced at his surroundings onest time, knowing that he was never going to return to this ce ever again. It was finally time for him to leave...
He stepped closer to the Spatial Portal and breathed onest deep breath.
With a resolute expression, he stepped forward, his body vanishing into the swirling vortex of the portal.
As he emerged on the other side, he knew that a new adventure awaited him, and he was ready to face it head-on. He was finally an Official yer in Hellfire!
