Chapter 5: Register, To Start The Hunter Test

A weekter, in the hospital courtyard.
Nurse Carol, who was in charge of Erik, was chatting during the lunch break with her colleague, who worked in the special area of the hospital where the hunters were cared for.
"Oh, I almost forgot."
Carol smacked her forehead as she thought about the patient she had been assigned to care for all that week.
"Pa, the patient I have, He''s pretty strange."
"What do you mean by ''strange''?"
Pa is intrigued by her friend''s patient because she doesn''t normally talk about her patients.
"Well, it''s hard to exin. Despite being a normal human, he recovered in just a week. It''s amazing."
Carol is still amazed, remembering how in just three days, the patient in charge had perfectly recovered most of his broken bones.
She could not understand how a human who was not a hunter could recover so quickly from mortal wounds like the ones he had.
"And was the patient seriously injured or did he just have a flesh wound?"
"The man was on the verge of death, but in just three days he was walking! It doesn''t make any sense!"
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, are you saying that I was already walking in three days?"
Pa, can''t believe her friend''s words, it''s too absurd to believe it''s true.
That a person who is not a hunter recovered in a week?
It''s too surreal and impossible for that to happen, especially as her friend who was on the verge of death said, it made it more absurd.
"And that patient of yours isn''t a hunter, is he?"
"He is not a hunter, as he was in an area for ordinary people, not in your special hunter area."
Carol and Pa continued chatting animatedly, as they finished their lunch.

"Please sign here."
Erik is currently signing a document to be discharged from the hospital so he can leave this ce.
During this week, he has recovered from almost all the fractures and broken tendons, he did not expect the skill "Savage Regeneration" to be so effective.
In just one week he had recovered from something that would take months or even years to heal, with the high probability that he would be left with seque.
This rapid recovery could not be called anything but miraculous.
"Everything is perfect. You don''t have to pay anything, all medical expenses have been covered by insurance."
"Thank you."
Thanking the nurse at the reception desk, Erik left the hospital.
Also, during this time he was in the hospital, he was able to think and noticed great changes in his body. That created a feeling of sadness in him.
The MOST important part of his body that had been central to his masculine identity waspletely gone.
He now found himself with a feeling of emptiness in his lower region.
In short, Erik had be someone who no longer identified with a particr gender. He is no longer male or female. This metamorphosis was due to his new role as the embodiment of the end.
Although this revtion plunged him into despair, he found some sce in the realization of his current status as the "Incarnation of the End."
That entailed an ipatibility with everything rted to creation and inception. This finally led him to understand that his transformation was inevitable and necessary in his new role.
So, whether he wants to or not, he has to ept this, because the change has already been made.

Arriving at her old apartment, she plopped down on the bed and stared at the ceiling as she reflected on the week she had spent in the hospital.
During all that time of recovery, nothing out of the ordinary had happened.
The only remarkable thing was that he had lost his most important limb.
The strange system he had acquired had not assigned him any tasks during that period.
He considered that this was due to some kind of blockage in his level one, but he could not confirm that assumption.
Because he doesn''t know anything about the strange system, so, all his questions he has, have no answers.
"Phew... Howplicated."
Letting out a sigh, he opened the status window and turned to the bottom section.
[Fenrir Points: 0]
[Fenrir Store]
[Missions]
When selecting the option that said ''Fenrir Store'', a window instantly appeared next to the status window.
[ess denied to the ''Fenrir Store''. Your level is insufficient. Reach level 11 to unlock this feature]
Observing this, Erik closed the status window and continued to stare at the ceiling with a bored expression. He doesn''t know what to do at such moments.
Just at that moment...
Tti-ring
[Daily mission is avable!]
"Oh, finally!"
With anticipation, Erik opened the window floating in front of him, eager to find out what kind of daily mission awaited him.
[Misión diaria: ?Asesina a tus enemigos!]

Lobos de Dientes Negros - Rango E, 20 veces: ipleto (0/20)

? Warning 1: Forpleting this quest, monsters will not give you experience.
? Warning 2: If you do notplete the daily quests, you will be sent to a random dungeon area for 4 hours.
After reviewing the contents of the mission, he closed the information window, got out of bed, and prepared to head to the Hunter''s Association.
He nned to take the hunter test, plete the mission, and, in addition, also be a hunter upon passing the test.
In short, you are killing two or three birds with one stone, right?

An hourter, Erik stopped in front of an imposing building.
People wereing and going through its doors, some in armor and some in mage robes; a variety of clothing and armor converged on the building that housed the headquarters of the Hunter''s Association.
After inhaling and exhaling deeply, he headed toward the imposing building.
His goal was clear: toplete registration and begin the hunter test.
After waiting in line for a few minutes that seemed like an eternity, his long-awaited turn finally arrived.
"Can I help you with anything?" the worker asked with a professional smile.
"I''m here to register and take the hunter test."
The worker walked over, elegantly extracted a crystal, and ced it on the desk.
"ce your hand on this crystal and infuse it with your magical energy; that way we will determine if you have awakened" She exined.
A brief moment of doubt crossed Erik''s mind.
''How will the crystal react if I transfer my energy?''
He wondered, hesitating for a second before finally resting his hand on the crystal.
Uncertainty took root in him, for his energy was not the conventional ''Magical Energy'', but an enigmatic ''End Energy'', a type of energy he had never heard of.
''Argh... Whatever it is''
Erik thought no more, put his hand on the crystal, closed his eyes, and immersed himself in concentration, seeking to connect with the scarce energy flowing through his body at that moment.
In that state of deep introspection, with his eyes sealed and his mind focused, he was able to visualize every nook and cranny of his being.
From theplexworks of veins running through his anatomy to the constant flow of blood coursing through them. He could even perceive the path of the telets in his bloodstream.
His internal exploration finally led him to his core, a space that housed only a small amount of ''End Energy''
As he contemted this small reservoir of energy, he strove to direct it into his hand.
To his amazement, the energy responded to his will and began to flow into the limb holding the crystal.
In a matter of seconds, the process wasplete, leaving him amazed at the speed and ease with which he had performed this transfer.
When the ''End Energy'' made contact with the crystal, a sh of light instantly flooded the ce, forcing everyone present to cover their eyes due to the intense glow generated by the crystal.
Quickly, the crystal returned to its normal state, leaving everyonepletely shocked at what had just happened.
"Am I qualified for the test...?"
Opening his eyes and looking at everyone around him, who seemed transfixed, Erik asked in confusion.
The worker upon hearing Erik''s voice quickly recovered and as she jotted something down on a piece of paper and hurriedly handed it to him.
"The glow of the crystal confirms that you have awakened as a hunter. This is the address where the test was conducted, it will be done tomorrow."
"Thank you..."
Erik thanked him, but he caught on quickly, and his expression changed in a second.
"Wait, tomorrow! No tests for today?"
"There are no more tests scheduled for today. You''ll have to wait until tomorrow," the worker replied in a professional but serious tone.
The nurse''s words made Erik panic. He had not expected this situation at all.
If he did notplete the daily mission, he would be sent to apletely unknown dungeon for four hours, which worried him the most, especially being only level 1.
"Is there no chance of taking the test today?"
I wanted to know if there is at least a chance to take the test today, Erik didn''t want to be sent to an unknown dungeon.
"Unfortunately, it is not possible to take the test today."
Realizing he had no other choice, Erik walked out of the building with his head down.
Thinking about where he would be sent for notpleting the ''Daily Mission''.
