Chapter 66. I Remember that We used to Have A Dubber Named Xu Luosang, She''s Amazing


    In half an hour, she walked into a stylish hair salon. Two hourster, she saw a strange, but familiar face of herself in the mirror. She had fluffy shoulder-length hair, and the side-swept bangs perfectly emphasized her pretty, delicate face. She had snow-white skin, moisturized full lips, a beautifully shaped nose, and a pair ofrge and bright eyes. She looked like a mixed-race girl. Her face was stunning.


    Her neck was slender, and her cor bones were perfectly shaped.


    The stylist from the salon sighed and said to her, You dont wear makeup, do you? Youre really a natural beauty.


    Luosang gave a faint smile.


    She might be a natural beauty, but so what? Now she needed to hide her name. In the past year, she had to make herself look in, but now, it was time to show her beauty again.


    After leaving the salon, she took the bus directly to Ximei College of Communication. She waited for a while before the faculty building, then Professor Ma, who was in his fifties, showed up. He gazed at Luosang for a short while, then sighed, Luosang, youre so pretty. Its such a waste for you to be a dubber instead of an actress.


    Professor Ma, you know that my grandma used to be a famous dubbing artist. She has dubbed many films from Hollywood and Europe. Ive always admired my Grandma, and hope that I can be an outstanding dubber like her. That is also my fathers wish, said Luosang sincerely, And its not so easy to be an actress now. The industry is tooplicated. Without backgrounds or connections, what actress can truly build a career if she doesnt want to y by these unspoken rules?


    Youre right though, Professor Ma sighed and continued, What happened to your father it made me sad. He dedicated his life to education and art, but in the end, fell into disrepute.


    Sooner orter, I will clear my fathers name, said Luosang, her eyes showing pain and determination.


    Take things easy, dont stress yourself out, Professor Ma patted on her shoulder and said, Ive told the college staff about your enrollment. But, you shouldnt let the others know that your name is Xu Luosang. Many people from film-television industry know your name. But the good thing is, dubbers work behind the screen, so not many people have seen your face. From now on, youll have a fresh start with your new name: Luo Sang. Lets go, Ill go through the admissions procedure with you, and take you to your dorm.


    Luosang nodded.


    The admissions procedure was a littleplicated, so it was already five oclock in the afternoon when she finished it.


    To avoid arousing suspicion, Professor Ma didnt apany her to the dorm. Instead, she went to the dorm herself.


    It was a four-room dormitory. She was a transfer student, so three students were already living in the dorm when she arrived. All three of them gave a little start when they saw Luosang.


    Nice to meet you. My name is Luo Sang. Im a new student from the broadcasting major, said Luosang while looking at her roommates up and down.


    As art students, all three girls were quite pretty.


    A sweet-looking girl with her hair up in a bun responded first, Wee, wee, my name is Tang Ning, and Im from the same major as you. These two are from the music major, their names are Ye Chuen and Yan Su.


    Luo Sang, your name is so familiar, a girl named Ye Chun raised her brows while painting her nails, and said, I remember there used to be a dubber named Xu Luosang. She was amazing.


    Ah, Ive heard about her as well, but Xu isnt myst name, Luo is, Luosang smiled.


    But its said that Xu Luosang has quit dubbing,  said Tang Ning smilingly, I guess shes too ashamed to continue working as a dubber. After all that happened in her family. Its a shame though, because I heard that shes a genius dubber. She can make ten different voices, speaks many differentnguages, and apparently her voice was so incredibly beautiful, that a musician once wanted to make a record with her.
