    She chased behind him swiftly. Freeze! She turned her sadness and anger into strength and used it to crazily chase that robber in the alley. She stepped into the puddles on the ground and made the water ssh everywhere. The robber was frightened. He clenched his teeth and ran as quickly as he could. As the distance between Nian Xi and the robber shortened to about ten meters, the robber suddenly turned onto the street at the front.


    Nian Xi followed and prepared to make the turn as well, but suddenly, a young man in a white coat walked into the alley from the other side. Nian Xi didnt manage to stop, and as a result, she and the young man bumped into each other.

She could finally cry as loudly as she wanted, to give vent to the sadness that was overstocked in her heart. She had waited for him for such a long time. In the past moment, she decided to give up. It felt like cutting off a part of herself.

    The man she had knocked to the ground was momentarily dazed. He stood up, dusted off his clothes, and stood there for a short while. And then, he walked to her, squatted, and looked at her motionlessly. He didnt know what to do.


    Nian Xi didnt know how long she had cried. Only after she started feeling tired and her legs were even numb because of the squatting position did she wipe her tears with her sleeves and raise her head.
