"The First Night"
The servant girl gasped, pulling her dress to her chest
Confused, they stared for a minute, eyebrows furrowed
It may be time to leave, the girl thought best
She struggled with the wet dress, but right she''d rather, in the mud, be burrowed
The embarrassment and horror finally falls upon her, why oh why, did she stop for a rest?Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.
She snuck a glance on the princess and saw her eyes narrowed
Flushed, the servant bowed and attempted to leave
But the princess took her wrist and noticed when she winced
The royal gently took her closer; she opened a drawer and took out a sleeve
Inside, medical herbs and paste, those of which she put on the wound after the servant girl rinsed
She worked in silence, though the servant grimaced and appeared unrelieved
As soon as the royal was done, she shot up and said she was fine, running out of the room, leaving the princess unconvinced.
