Introduction: So this is a WIP I am currently staring at and not actually working on. Good ol'' writers block and all. It''s my second attempt at Dark Fantasy, whilst also being my very first attempt at an Eldritch Horror inspired Dark Fantasy.It follows the exploits of Detective Pious Langa (named after a former South African Chief Justice), a deeply troubled, deeply disturbed and raging alcoholic who rarely sleeps at home, or sleeps for that matter. His highly disheveled and unkempt appearance coupled with his bad attitude and aloof behaviour have him at odds with his colleagues, yet his uncanny ability to solve cases of violent crime means that he is as hated as he is tolerated.A virtual walking talking Detective cliche, Langa tackles a case that will force him to face the troubles that have plagued him his entire life, as well as push him into a world he thought existed only in his head.(These are the first two chapters of the WIP.)...
