Chapter 431 Gorath

Alex stood on the bridge of King, watching the desert Gorath growrger through the viewport. The unforgiving climate of the, the swirling dust storms, and its barrenndscape seemed to reflect the darkness rising within him.

The surface was harsh and lifeless, but below it, in the hidden depths of the, the Red Demons were teeming like vermin.

His ship''s scanners had picked up every single one of their underground bunkers. Massive cities beneath the surface, housing millions of the vile creatures who had destroyed Eldaris and nearly taken Mira from him.

    No more.

    He would burn them all.

He gripped the controls of King with white knuckled precision as the ship sped through space towards Gorath.

His mind raced as fast as the stars blurring past his view. He knew the destruction awaiting the Red Demons on that. The thought of millions, perhaps billions, of them hiding beneath the sand, cowering in their underground bunkers, only fueled the rage simmering inside him.

The closer they got, the clearer the details became on the scanners. King''s advanced systems identified dozens of underground cities, packed with Red Demons. These weren''t military outposts or fortifications—they were civilian bunkers, filled with families, soldiers, politicians, and warlords.

But to Alex, it didn''t matter. They were allplicit. Everyst one of them was responsible for Eldaris and Mira''s death. If not directly, then through their loyalty to the Red Demon Race.

    He wouldn''t show mercy.

Why would he? Did they show mercy to the billions of humans they ughtered, to the children they tortured andughed at as they ate their parents?

    No, they didn''t.

    "Gorath…"

    Alex muttered under his breath.

    "We''re here."

King descended into the''s atmosphere, the howling wind camouging the roar of his engines as the desert stretched endlessly below.

He set the ship down a few kilometres from the nearest cluster of bunkers, resting just outside the worst of the sandstorms. As thending gear deployed and King touched down with a heavy thud, Alex took a deep breath.

    "I''ll be back soon enough."

He told Mira, giving her a gentle and reassuring smile as he looked at her onest time.

The ship''s defences were enough to protect her.

Not even an A tier attack could prate King''s shields on the first try, and if one dared to even try, Alex would feel the effects of it from anywhere on the and would do his utmost to rain hell on whoever tried it!

It didn''t matter if they were a B tier, A tier or even an S tier!

He would disy his wrath regardless!

At the edge of the Airlock, Alex equipped his Evermoor armour and slung Virtue''s Edge across his back.

The moment he stepped out of the ship, the desert heat and roaring winds mmed into him.

    But he barely noticed.

His eyes were locked onto the horizon — towards the hidden bunkers beneath the sand.

He wouldn''t wait for them toe to him.

    He would hunt them.

Alex didn''t waste any time and moved quickly across the barrenndscape of Gorath.

The relentless winds felt nothing more than a gentle breeze to him, and the swirling dust storms did little to obscure his vision.

As he neared the bunker, the ground beneath his feet rumbled.

Hidden beneath the surface, the Red Demons were no doubt aware of his presence.

    It didn''t matter though.

They could prepare all they wanted.

Their time had run out the moment Alex had set foot on this world.

Standing atop the sandy dune, Alex unslung Virtue''s Edge.

With a single, focused thought, he sliced.n/?/vel/b//jn dot c//om

At first nce, it appeared to be a simple sh.

But the force behind it was iprehensible.

As the de cut through the air, a blinding arc of Phoenix fire erupted from Virtue''s Edge, carving through the space between Alex and the hidden bunker.

The ground shuddered violently, and a shockwave rippled out from the point of impact.

The very sand beneath his feet trembled, a low rumble resonating through thendscape as the strike hit the surface of the.

For a brief moment, there was silence

    And then, the ground copsed.

With a thunderous roar, the desert opened up as if swallowing the world whole. The bunker beneath began to buckle under the force of Alex''s attack.

Huge fissures formed in the earth as the structural integrity of the underground city crumbled. Sand, once held back by the reinforced barriers of the Red Demon bunkers, now poured in with unstoppable force, cascading like a relentless avnche.

Alex stood tall, watching as millions of tons of sand copsed into the exposed city below.

    But that wasn''t it.

His phoenix fire did not stop with the initial strike.

The sand, infused with the intense heat of the Phoenix fire, began to glow with a bright, molten intensity. The temperature beneath the surface rose to unimaginable levels as the sand itself started to melt, transforming into rivers of molten ss.

The Red Demons'' screams echoed up from below, their voices distorted by the suffocating heat and the crushing weight of the sand. Buildings that had once stood tall beneath the surface were ttened under the pressure.

Demons were trapped, their bodies incinerated by the scorching heat as the sand and ss encased them, sealing them in a ss coffin for eternity.

The once grand underground city was now a death pit, its streets flooded with liquid ss, the air thick with the stench of burning flesh. The Red Demons'' cries grew weaker, fainter, until they were drowned outpletely by the roar of the molten sand.

Alex remained still, his face grim, his emotions cold as he watched the bunker disintegrate before his eyes. He could sense the life forces below vanishing one by one, snuffed out like candles in a storm. There was no escape for them, no mercy to be had.

The molten ss began to solidify as it cooled, trapping whatever remained of the Red Demons'' city beneath a shimmering, obsidian grave.
