"Ava! Wake up! It''s already 8:00! Come on! Pack up! Whatever!" My mother screamed from downstairs. I snapped out of the dream and woke up with a jolt. I scrambled and took the orchid. I went downstairs and saw the family already eating. Mom was serving waffles. Pearl was still sleeping, my brother Jax, dad, and my older sister Kristina were eating. I sat down on one of the wooden chairs.
As I nibbled on a waffle I thought about one of the students in my class. Gabriel. Although we rarely even talk, I kinda like him. I mean, most of the girls like him and he is a popular kid in school, but not only that; he is pretty smart and kind. And even rich. He has a sister too, who is also as popular, kind, rich, and smart as he is. Her name was Angelina, and I like her as a friend.
"You daydreaming there?" My mom asked me, with a tiny bit of a smile.
"Uh, No," I replied. "Not really." I said before mom said anything else.
I packed up my stuff; homework, sketchbook, literally everything you would need to pack up. I gently picked up the slightly covered with paper orchid and placed it in one of the bag pockets. Saying bye to the family, I hurried to the bus and went along.A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
I sat beside Katy, one of my friends. Oh, I should mention; I have this "habit" of classifying everyone.

I''m sure you understand what I mean at the "Enemies" column.
Katy waved at me a bit shyly, then she looked at the orchid that was bulging out of the backpack.
"Oooh! Nice orchid! Can I take a look?" She asked, her hands in loose fists. I''m going to say though, Katy is a shy person. But when she sees something interesting, she just goes bananas.
"Oh uhmm... My mom told me not to let anyone touch it." I lied.
"Pretty please?"
I sighed. I would have done so but the moment I take it out, I would enter the void world. I sighed again.
"Fine." I reached out for the orchid.
