Xing Shaofeng was so efficient that he replied 30 minutes after knowing what had happened.
“Three out of the fourptops are still powered off so no info could be found out. And one of them has just connected to the inte 10 minutes ago, but it didn’t turn on. So I tried to wake it up automatically and broke into its locked system. I copied and removed all of the files in it and destroyed the original files. This is its location and it is still on your campus. You can now call the police to find the burr.” Later he sent a location to them.
Niu Junjie checked the location and went ame that he rolled up his sleeves, “Shit, how dare he to still hide in the campus and even have the mood to go to the canteen? It must be someone we know and I’m gonna beat him up!” Then he was about to storm out.
“Wait.” He Bai stopped him.
Niu Junjie turned back and stared at him, “Are you gonna stop me now, Bai? You can’t be kind to a burr!”
“Who said I’m gonna stop you?” He Bai took off the coat which was a hindrance now and rolled up his sleeves as well, sneering, “I’m going with you.”
Chen Jie already took the baseball bat from the corner.
Wang Hu was so frightened that he went up to grab that bat over and persuaded them patiently, “You can’t take this, it will kill people. You better use your fists, it feels better that way. You know, it’s gonna be kicking ass good. Trust me, Lao Er.”
Chen Jie looked at his fists and went out of the door directly. The other three followed him right away.
These people went out of the dorm with anger yet all of them had forgotten to report to the police and their instructor first, as they were determined to find that person first and kick his ass to get some relief.
The dorm was a little bit far from the canteen, so the four of them strode. But they were so frustrated getting Xing Shaofeng’s phone call right at the moment when they could already see the gate of the canteen.
“He Bai’sptop was turned on just then, and the burr tried to check the files and log in his Weibo ount, but he failed them both. Now he is taking theptop to leave the campus. I guess he is looking for someone to hack into theptop.” As he was speaking, Xing Shaofeng sent another moving location to them, “I sent him a malware in a pop-up advertisement form when he turned on theptop and connected it to the inte, and he clicked it. So now, even if he disconnects it to the inte, I can still track the location of theptop.”
The location spot was moving super fast, so he must be in a car.
“Fxxk!” Niu Junjie was so mad that he started to scratch his hair, “I didn’t take my car to the campus this week, how are we supposed to catch him?”
Chen Jie’s was inted immediately.
He Bai frowned and made a decision right after taking a look at that moving location spot, “Send the location to the police and ask them to catch him for us. Junjie, you make the call. You have your family background so the police wouldn’t ck off on dealing with your reporting.”
Hearing that, Niu Junjie took out his phone immediately.
“Shall I call the instructor?” Wang Hu asked as he was holding Chen Jie who could go mad at any time.
“Yes, but not now.” He Bai had a thought after saying that, so he found out Li Ru’s number and called her to ask, “Sis Li, are you still in Q university now?”
5 minutester, the four of them jumped into Li Ru’s car. Niu Junjie got to drive and Li Ru sat in the passenger’s seat, while He Bai and the other two squeezed in the back seat. One of them was in charge of telling the location to Niu Junjie, one to call the instructor to tell him the situation, and the other one just sat there being dead serious.
“He is heading to the direction of Jianshe Street.” He Bai checked on the location and looked back at Wang Hu who just hung up the phone, asking, “What did the instructor say?”
“He said it’s too dangerous to chase the car, and asked us to go back to the campus to wait for the update from the police.” Wang Hu put down the phone and told him honestly, “Then I told him that we were not chasing the car and we wereforting Lao Er who lost his paper.”
Chen Jie looked back at him.
Wang Hu pushed his face back because he felt he might have nightmares getting stared by him.
“Turn left.” The location spot moved again. He Bai told Niu Junjie to change the direction and when he tried to check on the road, the spot disappeared on the interface, as Di Qiuhe’s phone popped on the screen.
He hung up in a hurry and set the location again to show it to Li Ru. Then he asked Niu Junjie for his phone to call Di Qiuhe back.
“What happened? Why isn’t Bai answering my call?” Di Qiuhe’s voice sounded a bit gasping, as he should have just finished the shooting and hadn’t had a rest to take a sip of water.
“It’s me. Junjie is driving now and my phone is locating.” He Bai exined about the situation here and told him with his eyebrows knitted, “As for now, it seems that the burr hasn’t touched anything on myptop. But you should tell your team to not rx at present, and keep an eye on him for a bit longer just in case.”
Hearing his voice, Di Qiuhe relieved his nerves a lot. His eyebrows were not that furrowed after hearing that Xing Shaofeng had helped him locate thatptop, replying, “It’s just fine if those videos get leaked. I could just say that I lost in Truth or Dare when having fun with my friends. It won’t have any big impact so don’t be so nervous. How about those pictures and materials of yours? Is it okay if they are lost? Also, don’t get too close, safety is the priority.”
He Bai realized now that there were a lot of precious pictures and source materials on hisptop. And he felt a bit shy after being shocked for a while, so he exined seriously, “Well, it has not lost...and it is just alright. Sis Li has got back-up files of all those pictures rted to work, and I can just shoot more in the future if they are lost.”
Di Qiuhe could figure out that he was just trying to be cool, so he felt tempted again. He said after a few seconds in a low voice, “I will go to take pictures with you when Ie back to B city...if you want to take pictures of me, I’d love to cooperate.”
Thetter sentence was way too romantic that He Bai felt a bit hot in his ears. He raised his hand to scratch them and looked around in the car, saying quickly while covering the phone, “Your face is like an attention ma, so how are you going to apany me? Alright, you should have a good rest after the shooting. I will call youter. Bye.” Then he hung up the phone and returned the phone to Niu Junjie, pretending that nothing had happened.
Niu Junjie took the phone and looked at him from the rearview in a bad-boy smile, “Qiuhe is worried about you so much...”
He Bai was so embarrassed that he pretended that he was gonna beat him.
Li Ru checked on his face from the passenger’s seat and frowned a little bit as if she was thinking about something.
“There was a police car passing by.” Wang Hu spoke all of a sudden.
People’s attention was drawn there, including Niu Junjie. Wang Hu was so frightened that he leaned over to press his head and said in a rush, “What are you doing Lao San?! Look ahead! Ahead!” The entire dorm was full of trouble makers, he was so tired being their mom.
Niu Junjie turned his head asmand and he was so excited, “Then the burr will never run away since the police car has arrived.”
After passing a few blocks, Xing Shaofeng called again.
“The burr has just tried to turn on theptop and check your Weibo ount and files. I turned on the camera of theptop and got a snap of his face. Just sent the picture to your phone, you can check it outter.”
He Bai was surprised and hung up the phone to get the picture. A stranger’s face showed up on the screen, that was a young man. He was dressed in style with a t cap. They couldn’t recognize him as they only saw half of his face since he was looking down.
“Who’s this?” Wang Hu went to check it out but frowned and shook his head, “He is definitely not from our department. I’ve never seen him.”
Chen Jie shook his head as well, “I don’t know him either.”
