The moment Anya got into the car obediently, Jake became exhrated. After he started the engine, he
turned on the radio and listened to the music as he chatted with her about Mdm Henkel’s project.
“How was your little chat with Mdm Henkelst night?”
“It was good. She was a nice person.
“That’s great. I was worried you might feel intimidated by her! Since she even called me to keep you for
dinner, you must have left a good impression on her.”

looked at her tenderly.

The two of them did not go on chatting for long. The car drove down the main road and headed straight
