A few dayster, Song Xing Xing appeared at the dinner party. When she showed up at the barbecue restaurant, almost everyone had shown up. Song Xing Xing craned her neck and sat down beside her friend, Liu Yu Sheng.
It has been a few weeks since thest time they saw each other and the two of them spent their time trading some gossips.
At this time, a few producers entered with the higher-ups.
The staff stood up and waited for them to sit down before they continued to grill more meat and chat around.
A producer stood up and announced that the drama that they have been working on for a few months was picked by one of the stations and will be aired after the new year.
The staff pped happily and raised their sses to toast.
As Song Xing Xing continued to chat with her co-workers, Producer Ming walked over and sat across her. He raised a ss and drink with a few staff.
Seeing that everyone else was chatting among themselves, Producer Ming turned to Song Xing Xing and asked, "Song Xing Xing, I have talked to the people from the new studio. Are you still free after the new year?"
Her eyes brightened upon hearing his words. "Producer Ming! I''m free! Since you''re going to rmend me to thispany, of course, I have to follow you."
Producer Mingughed at her enthusiasm. "That''s good. Next week, I will send you an address. You cane over and sign an agreement. I''ve looked at the project they picked. They are pretty good, but I''m going to rmend you to work on their variety show."
The smile on her face stiffened. Though she was happy to get a permanent job, Song Xing Xing seemed to remember how tiring it was to work on a variety show. However, once she heard that she would be open to a lot of new opportunities, Song Xing Xing decided to follow the man''s arrangement.
Anyway, she has been working under Producer Ming a few times and knew that the man only wanted to look after her.
"This time, I will be taking a few of the editors as well," Producer Ming continued. "Liu Yu Sheng and Ling Jing Xuan have agreed to join in the new studio."
Producer Ming exined about the new variety show and mentioned a few celebrities that were going to show up. The new variety show sounded like it was going to be fun and Song Xing Xing was excited upon hearing about the lineup.
It seemed that NEXT Bright Entertainment was going to promote their artists as well as bringing over some A-list celebrities to liven up the atmosphere.
Song Xing Xing realized that she had never worked with any of the celebrities before, but have heard of their good reputation and professionalism.
Once the dinner ended, the others decided to continue the party at a KTV.
Song Xing Xing watched as the others started to sing and decided to head over to the restroom. Her steps halted the moment she saw a silhouette passed by.
Her brow raised as Song Xing Xing thought that the person seemed very familiar to her. It seemed that that person was the same uncle who had used her of sneaking to find materials on him.
Whenever she recalled that incident, Song Xing Xing felt her anger surged.
It was a small matter that can be resolved after a discussion, but that person had chosen to call the police and made thingsplicated.
Fortunately, her cousin had agreed to help her resolve the matter.
Feeling that her dder was urging her to head over to the restroom, Song Xing Xing decided to forget that person and go on her business.
Anyway, after that misunderstanding, Song Xing Xing only wished that the two of them will never meet again.
Of course, Song Xing Xing would never guess thatter, she would be meeting that person again and their rtionship would change...
Meanwhile, Lu Xun returned from the restroom and entered the room where his friends were waiting for him. The room was loud with music as one of them was grabbing the mike and singing his heart out.
Lu Xun picked up his sses and turned to Zhang Yu Han. "Next week, we are going to sign the agreement and announce to the public about this new project. Are you going to show up as well?"
Zhang Yu Han thought about his schedule and declined. "It''s fine. You can manage it however you like. I trust you." He took a sip from his drink and spoke, "I heard that they are nning to organize a reunion after the new year. Are you going?"
Lu Xun and Zhang Yu Han met in C Country. They were roommates and ssmates in university and became close afterward.
"I''m not going," Lu Xun said. His lips turned into a smile that did not reach his eyes. "I told you that I am not going back to C Country."
Zhang Yu Han watched his friend''s expression. He took a sip from his drink and spoke again after a long silence between them. "They said that Shi An Na is returning to this country soon."
His movement halted and his grip on his sses tightened. Lu Xun forced himself to calm down and chuckled. "Is that so?"
Zhang Yu Han opened his mouth to speak, but stopped himself as he noticed that his friend''s mood had changed,
As his good friend, Zhang Yu Han was aware of Lu Xun''s rtionship with Shi An Na and how much that woman had hurt him. He had thought that Lu Xun had moved on, but it seemed that after years has passed, Lu Xun was still affected after hearing that name.
Back then, Lu Xun and Shi An Na''s rtionship was envied by their friends. They were each other''s, first love. They were close and would go everywhere together. During their final year, the couple had worked on a project together and had started apany together.
Everyone had expected that the two will marry each other after graduating.
None of them had thought that their rtionship would end badly and Shi An Na would be marrying someone else.
Perhaps, it was because of this that Lu Xun seemed as if he was no longer interested in starting a new rtionship.
Though they had never had a heart-to-heart conversation, Zhang Yu Han could see how much his friend was hurt and was unable to move on.
His heart was broken and after separating, Lu Xun decided to return to the country and spend his money by investing in a lot of businesses.
