On Saturday morning, Song Xing Xing took a taxi and headed over to Lu Xun''s ce. On one hand, she was holding a paper bag with his coat in it, while on the other hand was a bag of fresh fruits she bought at the market earlier.


    This would be the first time she went to his house. No matter what, she would not feel at ease toe over empty-handed. She knew that Lu Xun does notck anything. After pondering about it for a while, Song Xing Xing decided to visit the market and purchased a few fruits.


    The taxi pulled over at the guard''s house. Song Xing Xing walked a short distance before she arrived in front of his house.


    Taking a deep breath, Song Xing Xing pressed the doorbell.


    After waiting for a while, the door swung open and Lu Xun appeared in front of her.


    Lu Xun stared at the girl in surprise. Although he knew that Song Xing Xing was going toe to his ce, Lu Xun did not expect that this girl would suddenly show up like this.


    "You…" Lu Xun hesitated. He nced in the direction where she hade from and suddenly, his expression turned angrier. "How did you get here? Did you walk over from the guardhouse? Why didn''t you call me earlier? I could pick you up at the entrance."


    Her lips pursed into a thin line. Song Xing Xing was not expecting that Lu Xun would suddenly be unhappy. She was nning to surprise him. She came over expecting that he would be happy but it seemed that this n did not go as she had expected.

    "The distance isn''t that far," Song Xing Xing said. Her lips pouted a little bit. "Are you not going to let me in?"


    Seeing the adorable look on her face turned him stunned.


    Lu Xun inhaled a deep breath and calm down.

    "I wasn''tfortable toe without bringing anything. Therefore, I bought some fruits at the market."


    "Thank you." Lu Xun took the bag from her and peeked inside. There was a bag of apples, grapes, and a box of strawberries. "Alright. Come in." He moved aside and watched as she entered his house. Then, he grabbed a pair of slippers and ced them before her. "Change into this first."


    "Thank you." Song Xing Xing stared at the gray home slipper with that big cat''s head and smiled. The cat''s head was big and fluffy. It reminded her of Mr. Fluffball. At one nce, she could tell that this was a pair of brand new slippers. "Did you buy this especially for me?"


    Lu Xun watched as she slid her feet into the slippers. "Un. Do you like it?"


    "It''s adorable."


    His face turned gentler upon seeing her reaction. "Come in."


    "Oh." Song Xing Xing nodded. Her body tensed as she walked into the living room. She was aware that as a singledy, she should not be entering a man''s house carelessly. At this time, no one knew that she wasing to Lu Xun''s ce other than Mr. Fluffball.


    At this time, a middle-ageddy suddenly appeared from the kitchen.


    Song Xing Xing noticed that thedy was wearing an apron and guessed that this should be the auntie that Lu Xun had mentioned previously.     Her face turned red at the introduction. Song Xing Xing nodded to the auntie and greeted, "Hello Auntie Wei."


    "Hello, hello!" Auntie Wei turned to Lu Xun and spoke, "The breakfast will be done in a few minutes. Just sit around first."


    LuXun led Song Xing Xing to the living room and asked, "Would you like some coffee or tea?"


    "Just get me a ss of water for now."


    Lu Xun smiled. He walked into the kitchen and came back with a ss of warm water. Shifting his gaze, Lu Xun realized that she was holding on to a paper bag tightly. "What did you bring with you?"


    Song Xing Xing followed his gaze and tightened her grip on the paper bag again. "This… I''m supposed to return your coat for you."


    Lu Xun stretched his hand to take the paper bag from her. His brow rose upon noticing that she was not nning to pass the paper bag to him. "Didn''t you say that you were going to return the coat to me?"


    A teasing smile curled on his face.


    "If you wanted to keep that coat, it''s fine too." Lu Xun retracted his hand.


    "No. I don''t want to keep your coat." She pushed the paper bag to him but quickly changed her mind.


    Lu Xun chuckled at the way she reacted. "What are you trying to do?"


    Song Xing Xing bit at her lips. "It''s just that, after you left your coat at my ce, Mr. Fluffball has been ying with your coat. Because of that, your coat is a bit torn." She took out the coat from her bag and showed him the damage that her cat had made. "I don''t think that I can return your coat to you like this?"


    Lu Xun took the coat from her and inspected it with a nce. There were a few obvious torn from the cat''s w and bite. Lu Xun was about to tell her that it was fine when the girl had spoken again.


    "How about I buy you a new coat instead?"
