Her brow rose.


    After observing them for a few minutes, her instinct told her that this man was a friend of Lu Xun.


    Song Xing Xing gathered her belongings and walked out of the cafe after ensuring that Lu Xun had paid the bills.


    The brown-haired man left just as she approached them.


    Lu Xun turned around and was surprised to see Song Xing Xing standing behind him. His expression eased up and he shed him a smile. "When did youe out?"


    "Just now." Song Xing Xing adjusted the straps on her shoulder. Her gaze shifted in the direction where the man had left. "Who was that?"


    Lu Xun followed her gaze and frowned. "Shi An Na''s ex-husband." He did not try to hide anything from her.


    Song Xing Xing looked at him in surprise. She was not expecting the man would have such an identity. Song Xing Xing wanted to ask him what they were discussing but did not want to make him upset.


    They were having so much fun earlier and she did not want to ruin his mood.


    She was well aware of how much Shi An Na had hurt him previously.


    Lu Xun''s parents have been married for years and their rtionship was still loving as they were young. Perhaps in the past, when Lu Xun was together with Shi An Na, he had hoped that their rtionship would be the same as his parents.


    However, that person had turned her back on him and married someone else.


    Song Xing Xing held his hand tightly and watched as his lips curved into a faint smile.


    "Should we go back?"


    Thinking that he was no longer in the mood to walk around, Song Xing Xing quickly nodded. Anyway, they were going to stay in the city for a few more days. There is plenty of time for them to y around.


    "You guys are back?" Zhen Wen Yu asked when she saw the couple walk in. She nced at the clock and smiled. "I thought that you were going to take Xing Xing to y for a long time."


    "We''re just going to put some things and get change," Lu Xun said. "Then, I''m taking her out again."


    Zhen Wen Yu thought for a moment and nodded. "Then, be careful."


    Song Xing Xing nced at Lu Xun before she followed him back to the bedroom. "We''re going out again?"


    Lu Xun tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear. "Didn''t I tell you that there''s ake behind our ce? It might not be as big as the one in D Town, but the scenery is just as beautiful."


    Seeing that his mood had not changed much, Song Xing Xing changed her clothes and the two of them went out again.


    Lu Xun led her to the backyard and followed the small path through the pine forest.


    After walking around for less than five minutes, the two of them arrived at theke.


    Song Xing Xing did not expect that theke would be this close. But perhaps because of the tall trees, they were not able to see thiske from Lu Xun''s house.


    The surroundings were quiet. Theke water was clean and transparent. There were a few houses around theke. From a distance, Song Xing Xing could see a group of teenagers ying in the water.


    Lu Xun led her to a spot and quickly entered the water. He wiped the water on his face and stretched his hand to her. "Come in?"


    "Is it cold?"


    Lu Xunughed. "It''s not that cold." His head tilted to one side, gesturing for her to take his hand.


    Song Xing Xing hesitated for a few seconds. She took off her t-shirt and pants and dipped her toes into the water. Once she was sure that the water isn''t that cold, Song Xing Xing ced her hand into Lu Xun''s and slid into the water.


    Song Xing Xing shivered as entered the water. She had not expected that the water''s temperature would be different than she had expected.


    However, before she couldin, Lu Xun had already pulled her into his embrace.


    "You said the water is not cold."


    "If we stayed like this you won''t feel that cold."


    Song Xing Xing bit her bottom lips, wondering if this man was taking his chance to y hooligan.


    The two of them swim around and kiss in the water. Although Song Xing Xing was still a little afraid of swimming in theke, with Lu Xun by her side, that fear had gradually dissipated.

    Lu Xun chuckled before he quickly caught her back into his arms. The girl finally stopped struggling after a while.


    The two of them continued to hug in the water until Lu Xun spoke again. "Actually, I didn''t expect that we are going to run after Shi An Na''s ex-husband."


    Lu Xun knew that his fiance was curious about his brief meeting with David Chen and decided to tell her what was going on.


    "Her ex-husband, David, thought that we get together after their divorce," Lu Xun said. "I only spoke a few words with him and exined that it would be impossible."


    A breath of relief escaped her.
