The Flow

“... As of yet we have, as a whole of civilisation, no perfect understanding of the force called The Flow. And that should be of our utmost concern, for we use it and work it each and every day of our lives, but still regard it some unfathomable power that we are not allowed to grasp an understanding of. The priests and even some of my more dim-witted colleagues argue that the gods to not intent for us to unravel the mystery that is the flow, but to all of that I say malarkey. It is nonsense, how could almighty beings not want someone to find out how the world works? Why would the gods even bother, it is not like we can truly ever challenge them, right? I mean an all mighty being would not have anything to fear from a few humans, unless it is not almighty. What if the nature of The Flow is something that the gods truly protect, what if they do not want us to find out how it works for it might put them in danger? What then? Could, no, can we still call them gods if they act like mere humans? When we think about it that way, the answer is obvious. The gods are no gods, and the flow is what gives them their power! If so we as a species have been toyed around with, by men that think them self above others, which is not something positive.

    A thought comes to mind.

What if someone were to destroy the flow? ...”
