    Without waiting for Yan Ruke’s reply, Yan Qingsi hung up. She cklisted Yan Ruke’s number before passing the phone back to Mrs. Yue. “I’ve taken care of it, auntie.”


    Mrs. Yue pped Yan Qingsi’s hand away and scowled angrily at her. “You’re the Yan Qingsi that Ruke has been talking about?”


    It seemed that Yan Ruke had already gone on the offensive. Yan Ruke had probably bad-mouthed Yan Qingsi in front of Mrs. Yue, but it was fine—she never nned on being part of the Yue family.


    Yan Qingsi nodded her head. “Indeed. I am what she says; the daughter of a mistress. Unchecked and irredeemable since young, the Yan Qingsi who loves seducing men. Why? Do I not look the part?”


    Mrs. Yue wore a stunned expression. She was expecting Yan Qingsi to defend her own image.

    Yue Tingfeng was still her son. She could not standby as someone spoke badly of him.

    Yan Qingsi headed straight for Yue Tingfeng’s bedroom. Mrs. Yue shouted at her figure, “As long as I live, I will not let you into our family.”


    Yan Qingsi shook her head and yelled back, “Tsk tsk, as if you’re not already incredibly old. What’s the point of joining your family? You already know that I love seducing men. As long as your son stays in the palm of my hand, I will have a house, a car, and money. What can I not get? I don’t care about titles.”


    Right in front of Mrs. Yue, Yan Qingsi gave Yue Tingfeng a flirtatious wink and shut the bedroom door.
