<h4>Chapter 138: Comes Just at the Right Time (2)</h4>


    When the old butler heard the sound of a car pulling up outside the vi, he had thought Mu Tingfeng returned home early. So, he hurriedly paused his work and went out to wee him with a smiling face.


    Ever since Zhao Youlin left the Mu family’s vi together with Joy, Mu Tingfeng had moved back to the vi, and Su Qing had stayed in just recently. As such, they had given a touch of life to this empty house since Zhao Youlin and her son’s departure.


    Even so, the old butler still missed the child with whom he grew up with. Although he hardly saw the child nowadays, the older version of the child could at least provide him some sort offort.


    The old butler put on a smile to wee the person. However, he cried out in shock when he saw the car outside the vi and the person who got out of it, “Why are you back?!”


    A gorgeous woman got out of the car. She wore an expensive ck and white mini dress that looked to be made of slightly thin material.


    She had draped a furry vest on her shoulders, which covered most of her already small face, leaving a pair of exceptionally beautiful, iconic and sparkling blue eyes.


    The woman was Su Ruixin. She was Mu Tingfeng’s biological mother, the madam of the Mu family.


    “Mr. Butler, it’s been a while. How are you?” Su Ruixin smiled gently when she saw the old butler.


    The old butler returned to his senses from the initial surprises. An obvious hint of glee was shown on his face and said, “Madam, why didn’t you inform me that you’reing back? I could have asked the young master to pick you up. I’m still as fit as a fiddle. Thank you for your concern.”


    Su Ruixin slowly walked to the old butler and said with a smile, “My sister told me that Su Qing is pregnant. Unfortunately, Yi and her inws are busytely, so they don’t have time to take care of her. As such, they sent her over to Mu Tingfeng. Although Tingfeng practices vignce in his work, he is a man, and men are not as sharp as women when ites to attention to detail. My sister is worried about Qing, yet she’s upied with some business. So, I came over to take a look first. Initially, I didn’t want to make a big fuss about all this. But, I never expected my presence to have shocked you guys instead.”


    “Madam, what are you talking about? Although your sudden appearance caught us off guard, you certainly did not shock us, in fact, you came to us as a surprise! You’ve been staying overseas for a long time and it’s been a long while since yourst trip back to your home country. I believe the young master has been missing you very dearly. He would be very delighted to see you back.” The old butler said to Su Ruixin while leading her inside the house gleefully.


    Su Ruixin froze. Then, she cast a nce at the night sky outside and asked, “Why hasn’t Mu Tingfeng came back at such ate hour?”


    The old butler answered truthfully, “Indeed, Madam. Most of the time, the young masteres home around ten o’clock at night.”


    Su Ruixin frowned and said, “He hasn’t changed a bit. He has no sense of timing when he’s at work. He doesn’t know how to take care of himself.


    “That’s right. I’ll be relieved if only the young master has someone who could take care of him attentively in the future.


    “This is also something I’ve been worried about. Initially, I thought after he got married, he could…”


    Su Ruixin abruptly paused. The old butler seemed to have realized something upon hearing this. He paused mid-stride, turned around and looked at her.


    Su Ruixin’s smile was a little strained. The next moment, she switched the topic, “Let’s not talk about this. Since Tingfeng is not back home yet, where’s Qing?”


    “Miss just finished her dinner and went upstairs to rest.”


    Right after the old butler spoke, a figure descended from the stairway. It was none other than Su Qing.


    Originally, Su Qing was talking on the phone with her beloved husband upstairs. Suddenly, she heard movement from downstairs. Just like the old butler, she had thought that Mu Tingfeng hade home. However, she realized something was not right from the sound of the movement downstairs. So, she reluctantly hung up on Song Yi and walked down the staircase. She had never expected she would be greeted by the sight of Su Ruixin as she reached the stairs.


    “Young Aunt, you’re here!” Su Qing’s eyes sparkled. She rushed down the stairs excitedly. The maids crept out when they saw this and unwittingly stretched out their hands for fear that Su Qing might fall down from the staircase.


    “Qing, what are you running for? Have you forgotten that you can’t simply run now?” Even Su Ruixin got cold sweats from fear. Her expression darkened, and she shouted at her sternly, which was a rare sight.


    Su Qing paused mid-step. She stuck out her tongue mischievously. Then, she slowly walked up to Su Ruixin, wrapped her arms around hers, and said coquettishly, “Young Aunt, we haven’t seen each other for a long time. How could you be so mean to me the moment you see me?


    Su Ruixin heaved a sigh of relief when Su Qing finally reached her safely. She stretched out and pinched Su Qing’s cheek. Then, she pretended to look mad and said, “I would not have been so mean to you if you knew how to behave yourself. Qing, don’t me me for making a fuss of all this, you’re no longer all alone now. Even if you don’t think for yourself, you have to consider the baby inside your belly as well as the baby’s father.”


    Su Qing’s face turned red when Su Ruixin mentioned Song Yi. She nodded obediently. Su Ruixin could not help but shake her head and sigh. Indeed, it’s hard to control adult children. Thess no longer listened to her elders, instead, she only obeyed her husband’s words.


    Su Qing returned to her senses after a brief moment of mawkish affection to herself. She faked a cough and switched the topic, “Young Aunt, aren’t you staying with Uncle overseas? Why did youe back all of a sudden?”


    Upon hearing Su Qing’s words, Su Ruixin cast a strange nce at her and said in a low voice, “It’s all because of your baby. How could you not let us know that you’re pregnant?! If not for your mother informing us, all of us would have still been in the dark. The Song family is in chaostely. Your mother is worried about you. But, she’s tied up overseas. So, she asked me toe over to look after you first. By the way, didn’t you just call me the other day to talk about…”


    “Ahem… Ahem…” Su Qing hurriedly fake coughed and interrupted Su Ruixin. She winked at Su Ruixin multiple times without leaving the slightest bit of trace.


    Su Ruixin froze. She got the hints from Su Qing’s gaze and instantly understood. Her eyes sparkled. She turned around and said to the old butler, “Mr. Butler, I just got off the ne and now, I feel a little cold. Please get the kitchen helpers to prepare some ginger soup for me to drive away the cold.”


    The old butler naturally understood that Su Ruixin had something to say to Su Qing in private. He smiled in a friendly manner and said respectfully, “Sorry for the negligence, Madam. I’ll get them to prepare a bowl of ginger soup for you now. Also, I’ll ask them to prepare some supper for you.”


    “Sorry to trouble you, Mr. Butler.”


    “Thank you, Mr. Butler.”


    Right after the old butler and the maids left, Su Qing was so eager that she pulled Su Ruixin to sit on the couch and said excitedly, “Young Aunt, you came just at the right time! Did you know what that stubborn Feng has be these days?! Hahaha! It’s so funny whenever I recall it!”
