    The next day.


    Huo Yao had slept all night peacefully and felt energetic this morning. She pulled out her phone to check the time but was unable to turn it on.


    She pressed the on button for a long time only to realise that her phone’s battery had run out.


    Huo Yao narrowed her eyes. That was odd. It still had about 80% battery when she went to sleepst night.


    She lifted her nket, and ced her phone on the bedside table to charge. She changed into her school uniform before entering the bathroom.


    After washing up, she went downstairs without her phone.


    Huo Xiang had gone to another province to shoot a music video, so only her parents and second older brother were at the dining table having breakfast.


    Huo Yao greeted the three of them before she pulled out a chair for herself. She settled down to eat her breakfast quietly.


    They had been in the middle of a discussion before Huo Yao came downstairs.


    “Tingrui, I don’t care. You have to go for matchmaking on Saturday.”


    Huo Yao had just taken a sip of milk and almost choked when she heard what her mother said.


    Matchmaking?


    Huo Yao turned her head sideways to look at her second older brother, who was sitting next to her quietly.


    During all this time, she had not seen him bring any female friends home ever.


    Huo Tingrui adjusted his sses and looked at his mother annoyingly. “Mom, can you stop it? How can I go for matchmaking in this time and age?”


    Song Ning sneered before she said in disdain, “Can you find anyone yourself if you don’t go for a matchmaking session?”
