    Mu Wensheng shook his head and said, “At least I am not aware of the method with which she can. Maybe the institute who invented this virus has something, but the possibility is very low.”


    It was very easy to make a woman infertile. But making her fertile again was very difficult.


    Lu could not even do it through surrogacy, because surrogacy required the mother’s eggs and her eggs were no longer active.

    Lu had never thought about children.


    She said calmly, “I don’t want children. It is tooplicated. Also, I can’t bring them up.”


    She was telling the truth. A virtuous woman like Shangguan Ning might think that children were important. But bringing up children required some skills and she was not interested in those kinds of things at all.


    Physically, she was fine. If she could change blood every half a year, she would be able to live for long. Her face may not undergo any changes in the next twenty more years. She would still have a baby-face.


    She had never thought about bing a mother, because she had a special identity and she thrived on killing. She walked on a double-edged sword every single day and her life was full of blood and ughter. A child would naturally burden her.


    Shangguan Ning could not help but get startled after hearing Lu’s voice.


    But, she didn’t look sad judging from her calm look.


    Lu looked like someone who did not care about these matters just like Zhao Anan.

    Shangguan Ning had no idea what more to say after she called out her name.


    But Lu did not need her constion. Nor did she need herpassion. She did not say anything, but felt kind of ufortable.


    Lu could not rte with Shangguan Ning on this point. She had juste to check if Shangguan Ning was fine. She nodded at Jing Zhongxiu as a way of greeting and left the hospital.


    It was already rare for her, a distant woman, toe and visit Shangguan Ning. She knew that Shangguan Ning treated her nicely and regarded her as her sister. Shangguan Ning would always care deeply when the other Lu appeared.


    She did not know how to express herself, but she knew who was true-hearted towards her.


    Lu covered her face and returned to Jing Yiran’s small vi.


    Jing Yiran had missed catching Tang Shunian, but was in a good mood because Lu was not wounded.


    So he decided to make some food for his girl. She had arge appetite and liked food with a lot of calories. So he was going to satisfy her.


    It was a different situation at home from at the hospital.


    Hospitals were boring white and stank of disinfectants. Serious-looking doctors and nurses roamed around everywhere. Lu had never liked hospital because of her childhood experience, but since hospital was the ce where her life was saved, she had a touch of respect towards this ce.


    But home was full offort and sweetness. The scent from the kitchen made her drool. What was more, Jing Yiran had turned on the music, making the atmosphere cheerful.


    Lu’s demeanor softened.


    Back at the hospital, she had been cold towards everyone, because she was not much of an emotional person.


    Now back in this cozy little vi, she felt at ease and could not help but rx.


    She was not sure if it was because of the ce or because of the person that had caused the change.


    She was drawn to the kitchen by the scent of food.


    “I am back.”


    The cute baby voice arose behind Jing Yiran. He turned around and kissed on Lu’s forehead in a natural manner and asked indifferently, “Jing Yichen is not dead, right?”


    Lu shook her head. “No, he is fine. Nothing can affect him as long as it is not fatal.”


    “What about Zheng Jing?”


    “He is not dead, either. Zheng Jing is not as seriously-wounded as Jing Yichen so he should recover soon. He did not care about his own wound but asked Director Mu to check his dog instead.”


    She talked so much only when she was with Jing Yiran. Maybe it was because she was closest to Jing Yiran or maybe because Jing Yiran was the only person who had walked into her heart.


    “Oh, how unfortunate! These two men just don’t die. Zheng Jing has brought up the dog as his own son. Getting the doctor to check his dog first? Honestly!”


    In order to avoid trouble, Jing Yiran did not go to the hospital. If he was discovered by Yang Muyan’s men, that n would have been ruined.


    What was more, he was not interested in visiting Jing Yichen and Zheng Jing. As long as they were alive, all was fine. If Jing Yichen died though, Jing Zhongxiu would give up protecting Lu.


    Lu felt that Jing Yiran looked extremely handsome today.


    He was wearing a sapphire colored T-shirt and a pair of white pants. He was not wearing an apron even when he was cooking, thinking that the apron would cast a shadow on his noble, perfect air.


    The simple outfit was showcasing his strong and tall body, perfectly.
