    Atst, Jing Yichenid his eyes upon the hundred-meter long passage that had been destroyed by the bomb.


    “Dig out this passage as fast as you can. We need to find her, either alive or dead!”


    “Yes, Master!”


    Jing Yichen’s force was apparently muchrger than that of Tang Shunian, and the underground passage was cleared within two days.


    Knife Lee called Jing Yichen and reported. “Master, we did not find Lu’s body, but we found her earphones and there was arge patch of blood next to it. The DNA is Lu’s.”


    Jing Yichen let out a sigh of relief and said calmly, “Okay, stay in B City now.”


    Jing Yichen put down the phone and walked out of the study toe to the living room.


    Shangguan Ning was feeding Jing Rui. She had recoveredpletely since yesterday, and Jing Rui did not need to drink powdered milk any more.


    Seeing Jing Yichening out of the study, Shangguan Ning looked worried. “Did you find her?”


    Jing Yichen shook his head. “No, but we found her earphones and a patch of blood. She might be injured, but the wounds should not be fatal.”


    Shangguan Ning felt relieved. Wounds were fine, as long as Lu was still alive.


    Jing Yichen hugged her, and brushed the strands of hair away from her face. He said in a soft voice, “Don’t worry, she has been through all sorts of danger as a killer, and has gone through much more bitterness than I did. But she managed to always stay alive! She is injured, surely, but she won’t die.”


    Jing Yichen was worried about Lu, but he felt that she would be able to handle herself.


    He had once fought alongside her, and knew pretty well what she was capable of.


    In the aspect of fighting, they were quite simr, active yet discreet.


    Jing Yichen knew that Lu must have followed Tang Shunian, not obeying his order of putting her life first.


    Jing Yiran got the update from Knife Lee. It was good news for him that her body was not found!


    He intended to find Lu himself but Jing Yichen’s men stopped him from doing so. Every time he tried to do something, he was punched.


    After four attempts, Jing Yiran finally gave up.


    He understood that he would not be able to go out. All he could do now was to wait for Lu to return to his side.


    He had felt proud to be with Lu, the number two killer in the world.


    But now, he did not want her to be that person anymore.


    It was too dangerous and she might die anytime.


    He wanted Lu to live a steady life, which was not full of blood and danger.


    Jing Yichen was still not going to office. He focused upon finding Tang Shunian, because finding Tang Shunian meant finding Lu.


    Of course, finding Lu meant finding Tang Shunian, as well.


    As long as one of them was found, it would be enough.


    But it was proving very difficult to find either of them. Jing Yichen spent three more days before finally finding a few traces of Tang Shunian.


    Knife Lee got to know that Tang Shunian was seriously injured and had been forced to go to a hospital.


    But it was difficult to find out which hospital it was, because he had made many people dress up like him to stay at the hospital.


    There were threerge-scaled hospitals in B City, five mid-sized and eleven small-sized ones.


    It would take too long if they checked each hospital one by one.


    Unfortunately, they did not find Lu during this period. She seemed to have disappeared totally. She had left no signal or traceable message.


    To make it worse, their inspection work at the hospitals was obstructed. B City was not like A City which was under the absolute control of the Jing Family. No hospitals there would dare to resist Jing Yichen’s order in A city. But the hospitals of B City were different. The tiny ones did not know about the Jing Family or Jing Yichen, so they did not want to cooperate.


    But the three major hospitals of B City were quite cooperative, since the directors were all fromrge families and they knew the Jing Family well as an old noble n, one that they all looked up to. So they did not stop Jing Yichen from entering the hospital for inspection.


    But they only found fake versions of Tang Shunian there.


    Jing Yichen started to focus upon the five middle-sized hospitals.


    Small hospitals were not well-equipped and had rtively low-level doctors. If Tang Shunian was seriously injured, small hospitals would not be able to save him.


    In order to get rid of Tang Shunian, Jing Yichen hade to B City once again.


    He was conducting the tracking in person.

    The night was dark, and the children on the seashore were taken home, with only sea water sshing against the beach.


    Several ck-dressed men walked across the smooth beach, leaving footprints on it.


    The men, against the weak moonlight, climbed over the tall wall of apound and soon went over the thickwn.


    Thepound’s guards had been in good spirits but suddenly the next moment, they got so tired that they fell asleep immediately.


    But the shadows were still wary. They looked around and approached several hidden figures in the darkness.
