    Finally, the doctor told Pei Ziheng, “Congrattions Mr. Pei, Miss Xia is very healthy and has no diseases. Her bones and muscles are well developed and her teeth are all neat.     Hence, Pei Ziheng asked them to remove all the scars on her body.


    She became a wless little girl with soft and tender skin. There was not a single blemish on her.


    After the incident, he got the butler to hire a beauty consultant to take care of her daily physique and appearance professionally. Such a beautiful girl must be kept beautiful forever.


    Because of the injury, Pei Ziheng asked for leave from Teacher Gao.


    She did not attend ss and stayed instead in his luxurious vi to recuperate. Every day, she bathed in rose milk, ate food and used things that had been specially selected and sent over by the butler.

    She asked the butler, “What kind of person is Brother Pei?”

    “Miss Xia.” He greeted respectfully.


    Xia Ling walked to the door and saw him as well as the middle-aged man. “Who are you?” she asked.


    “I’m Pei Jingmei’s father.” The middle-aged man quickly smiled at her. “Jingmei has offended you identally in the etiquette ss a few days ago. I have already reprimanded her and havee today with a few gifts to ask for your forgiveness. Miss Xia Ling, you are all ssmates and have to get along cordially in the future, please forgive her and ept the gift.”


    He did not want to be rushed back by the butler. If the one who came to the door the next time was Pei Ziheng, he was sure to make things difficult for him. Many of the Pei family’s uncles were afraid of this nephew, and Pei Zhang was of no exception.


    It was better to take the opportunity and act on it quickly. Hence, he had directly asked Xia Ling to ept the gift.


    “What gift?” Xia Ling asked.

    She continued humming and ate candies while trying out the hairpins.


    She repeated this continuously. The butler continued handing her more gifts.


    It turned out that the news of Pei Zhang sending her gifts had spread like wildfire. Several of those who had participated in the fight were afraid of offending Xia Ling and had thus alle forward to send her gifts, hoping for her forgiveness. The butler sighed deeply. Due to the principle of “offending people if he selectively epted some gifts”, he had no choice but to ept them all.


    That day, Xia Ling had a joyful time in her room. She had received many new clothes and beautiful essories as well as many candies. It made her awfully busy until dusk.


    Pei Ziheng stepped into the house. Nanny Zhou offered him tea and the Butler came to take the coat off Pei Ziheng.


    Pei Ziheng asked, “Where’s Xiao Ling?” Usually, that little goblin was the first one to wee him when he reached home. However, he could not see her weing him home today.
