    True enough, the girl said, “I’m Xia Ling.”


    Principal Sha looked even kinder now. “So you’re Xia Ling. A few of the examiners have told me about your outstanding performance in the final round. It’s really our honor to be having you here in our camp.”


    Deep inside, however, he was sweating buckets.


    This girl really was Xia Ling! She really did act like someone from a known backgroundpletely unafraid to offend anyone, full of confidence, and already stirring trouble within half a day!


    The previous day, he had received a call from Secretary Zhou, saying that Xia Ling would look for him at his office today. He rescheduled all other matters at hand and waited in the office for her. Initially, he had nned to personally fetch her at the gate, but Secretary Zhou said that this little girl did not like attention. Hence, Principal Sha simply waited in his office for her.


    He waited a long while before he got news from the guard post that she had entered the camp.


    But twenty minutes had passed and she still had not arrived at the principal’s office.


    Principal Sha got worried, could something have happened to her? He traced the path and fortunately arrived on time. Otherwise, the consequences could have been dire... Principal Sha was praying in his heart as he said to Xia Ling, “You’ve had to suffer grievances because of some errors made by the camp, we’re really sorry.”


    Everybody was shocked. What was going on, Principal Sha had actually apologized to Xia Ling?

    Li Bingman was shocked. Why was Principal Sha being so polite to this unknown girl? Just because she could sing falsetto?! How could that beparable to her status as the Diva’s sister?!


    Principal Sha should know better than this!


    Unless... Principal Sha did not know that she had conflicts with Xia Ling?


    But the other ssmates had already mentioned it to him! “Principal Sha,” she had no choice but to speak up now. “Xia Ling is too much. She missed lessons for no good reason, and she’s eyeing my ss monitor position the moment she’s back. Although this position doesn’t mean much to me, she doesn’t deserve this position. Who in ss is willing to be led by her? She’s being unreasonable!”


    “Bingman, we shouldn’t be too calcting with one another.” Principal Sha had his smiling mask back on as usual. He was teaching Li Bingman a lesson now—although he sounded nice and kind, each word was a stab to her heart. “The ss monitor position is meant to go to the Best Student of the Year. Xia Ling was on leave for a while, which was why we let you take over temporarily as the acting monitor. Now that she’s back, it’s only fair that you let her have the position. I’ll get the administrative department to change the names of the ssmitteeter on.”


    “What!” Li Bingman was in disbelief. “No!”


    She went to great pains to get this position. If she was robbed of it, that’d be more embarrassing than if she never got it to begin with! She didn’t want such an embarrassment! “Principal Sha, my sister is Li Bingyu!” She reminded Principal Sha in a moment of panic.


    But Principal Sha was unimpressed. This insensible girl was actually using her sister to threaten him?


    So what if her sister was Li Bingyu, Xia Ling’s backing was Pei Ziheng! Look at Xia Ling, keeping quiet about her astounding pir of support. As for Li Bingman? She couldn’t wait to let the whole world know her status! What ignorance!


    Principal Sha’s expression was more solemn now. “And so what if your sister is Li Bingyu? In Imperial’s training camp, everything depends on your ability. Since you’ve lost to Xia Ling during the selection, don’te up with excuses to ask for things that aren’t even yours.”


    “I...!” Li Bingman waspletely confused, this wasn’t how Principal Sha acted when her sister asked him to “take good care of my sister”! What exactly was going on?!     Xia Ling was very satisfied with the way Principal Sha handled the situation. “Hmph, Li Bingman, you actually find yourself capable to be a monitor? You’re just a thief, shameless!”


    Every word that came from her made Li Bingman’s expression more awful.


    The student in-charge of conduct stepped up. “Xia Ling, are you supposed to speak like this? You...” Although Li Bingman had “fallen”, he still wanted to defend her. After all, she was the Diva’s sister and had the capability to help him in his future career. The student in-charge of conduct decided that this was the best time to offer his help to Li Bingman. As long as he tried his best to defend her, she’d definitely be touched and grateful towards him.


    If she could repay him with her body...


    He was fantasizing too much now.

    Principal Sha smiled at Xia Ling. “Xiao Ling, now that you’re the ss monitor, you can pick your own ssmittee members. Those whom Li Bingman had picked previously are no longer counted, you can start themittee afresh.”


    This was exactly what Xia Ling wanted.


    She’d long been annoyed at this student in-charge of conduct, also known as Li Bingman’sckey. She sneered and looked at him. “You, out of themittee! Didn’t you want to punish me by making me run 100ps on the field? Very well, you can run that 100ps now! You’re not allowed to go to ss, eat, or sleep until you’re done!”


    Xia Ling felt great to give him a taste of his own medicine.


    The student in-charge of conduct’s expression turned awful. 100ps! The field at the training camp was huge, he wouldn’t even be able to finish it by nightfall! The usual punishment at the camp was just 50ps of running. He had told Xia Ling to run 100ps just to embarrass her, but who knew his retribution woulde so soon!


    “Why, you’re not satisfied?” Xia Ling smiled. “Let’s make it 300ps then.”


    “What, 300ps?” The student in-charge of conduct was fuming. “Don’t you go too far, Xia Ling! So what if you’re the ss monitor? 300ps are physically impossible for anyone. Principal, I want to report her for abusing her right! I refuse!”


    This poor in-charge still had not figured out the situation.


    Principal Sha’s smile was still so kind. “Little student, don’t get so agitated. 300ps are indeed way past a normal human’s limit, the school management will not allow anyone to be at risk here.”


    “Exactly!” The in-charge got all self-righteous the moment he heard what Principal Sha said. “Xia Ling is abusing her power! I want her out! Make Li Bingman the monitor again!”
