    The hot palm on top of Yu Gangan’s head felt magical as it warmed her heart.


    She looked at the back of Fang Zhihan questioningly as she felt a mix of emotions. She wanted to ask him why he was upset that she went to see Yang Tianyou.


    But, at that moment, her phone suddenly rang.


    Yu Gangan fetched her phone from her handbag and looked at the iing number. Her expression darkened as she picked it up, “Uncle.”


    Fang Zhihan had gone to the kitchen to pour a ss of water. When he walked back out, he saw Yu Gangan furrow her brows. At that moment, her pure and clear face was filled with hesitation. He slowly stopped in his track and looked at the woman, waiting for her to speak.


    “My uncle called and said that we should share a meal together since we’re married. I didn’t refuse,” Yu Gangan didn’t want to refuse.


    After all, how could one catch a tiger without entering a tiger’sir?

    “R-Really?” Lin Jiayu opened her eyes emotionally.

    As Lin Jiayu watched Yu Gangan pull out a long and thin needle from her medicine chest, she subconsciously gulped, “Are you nning to stab that into my face?”


    Yu Gangan wasn’t using a silver need on Lin Jiayu, she was using a gold one. It was roughly 3 inches long with a thin end and a thick end. The thin end spanned the body of the needle.


    Yu Gangan flicked the needle and it made a vibrating noise, “Most doctors use silver needles these days and ce one needle in each acupuncture point. The needles go in shallow, but...”


    Lin Jiayu cut in, “I trust you.”


    Yu Gangan smiled, “OK, then I’ll get started. Just close your eyes and don’t be afraid. I will definitely realign your lip without leaving any holes or bruises on your face...”


    The woman’s voice was gentle like wind and her expression was calm. This suddenly gave Lin Jiayu a peace of mind.


    She slowly closed her eyes but she still felt a little scared, so she clenched her fists.


    “Rx,” Yu Gangan said as she ced her hand on the young woman’s face and gently massaged it. She then inserted a needle into the Jiache acupuncture point and asked, “How does that feel?”


    “It seems to hurt a little.”


    “It’s good that it hurts.”


    If she didn’t feel any pain, then her condition would be quite serious.


    The fact that she felt pain on her first session meant that her condition was quite light. In fact, it was likely to recover faster than Yu Gangan expected.
