    He Jichen still ignored her. He didn’t get up until he checked to see for himself that she was fine. Then he pulled out his phone and made a call.


    After a few seconds, the call was picked up and He Jichen spoke with deep, low voice. “Doctor Xia? You don’t have toe. Mhm, it’s nothing major. Mhm, sorry...”
