"Boss, we were very careful while going about the production of the outfit. Everyone we worked with was those from our subsidiarypany. We told made them sign a contract to keep the project a secret, I am sure they would never disclose....,"


    "If you were so careful then tell me what went wrong?" Jackson interrupted thedy who was almost the same age as him.


    "Boss Miss Kira is right. We were very careful during the production of the different varieties of clothes. As you know everything was going smoothly until three days ago....,"


    "What do you mean by that? What happened three days ago?" Jackson said sounding a bit more rxed.


    "Three days ago, I came into your office to give you the sample of the colour changing outfit and the designs our team hase up with but unfortunately I didn''t see you in the office. I met Miss Jasmine looking around the office...,"


    "And what are you trying to say now? Are you insinuating that my woman leaked the project? Do you even know what you are talking about?" Jackson asked subconsciously standing up to his feet.


    "Boss, nobody in the office will have the guts to leak the project. I know Miss Jasmine is your girlfriend but as it is now she is the biggest suspect. Thepany which announced the project is her ex-boyfriend''spany. It can''t be a coincidence...,"


    "I dare you to repeat that nonsense," Jackson interrupted sharply as he threw a murderous nce at Alexis, thedy who used Jasmine of being the suspect.


    Max also stood up from his seat. He could understand why his boss was so mad at thedy''s utterances.


    He knew Jasmine would never do such a thing to his boss. He is a witness of how much these two people love each other so how could Miss Jasmine bear to do such a thing to his boss.


    "Boss, you didn''t hesitate to use us of leaking the project so why are you so biased when ites to her? She is a stranger in thispany so she should be the biggest suspect here and not us," Alexis said unwaveringly.


    "You are so protective of her, aren''t you afraid of what others will say?" Jane who happens to be in the team said.


    "You didn''t hesitate to use someone who has no idea of what we are working on. To me you are the biggest suspect about the leak and if I discover that you were involved in this issue I will not only fire you from thepany but I will make sure you never get any decent job out there," Jackson said ignoring Jane words.


    After he left the meeting room in anger, Max addressed everyone. He left after passing all the information to them.


    He went to check up on his boss afterwards. The fuming Jackson raised his gaze to stare at Max.


    "Max, get information on the ces and people whom thedy who used Jasmine has been to. Ask Ben to check her ount details for any fishy transaction. Do the same for Jane, I don''t trust those twodies seeing how easy they jumped on using my woman," Jackson said in an angry tone.


    "Boss, what should we do about the angry investors? Some of them have withdrawn their shares while some threatened to withdraw their shares, what should we do?" Max asked in a calm tone.


    "Give me a few minutes to think. I will try toe up with a temporary solution while the team tries to fix the problem," Jackson said as he massaged his eyebrows to relieve stress.


    "Ok, boss," Max replied.


    "Take down the news about the leak on the inte...,"


    "Boss, that will be difficult to do since the news has circted on all the social media...,"


    "If you can''tpletely take it off from the inte then try to prevent the further spread of the news," Jackson said as he rxed his back on his executive chair.


    Since he learned about the news, he has been running about the entire day. He did not even have time to sit down in one ce not to mention having time to call his woman like he normally did.


    "I will work on it now," Max said. He turned and leave the room afterwards. The moment Max left, the stressed out Jackson began making phone calls.


    While he was busy trying to resolve the problem Jasmine was so worried sick because she could not get in touch with him since he dropped her off at the office.


    "I can''t continue sitting here. I need to go to his office and check up on how he must be doing...,"


    "Reporters must have crowded the entire Smith International Headquarters so tell me how are you gonna see him?" Catherine who has been keeping Jasminepany since they learned about the news asked.


    She too was worried about Jackson but there is nothing they can do other than to wait. Going to his office to her wasn''t the best solution.


    "You know that going to his office right now might bring about another issue. The reporters might drag you into this mess and Jackson wouldn''t want this...,"


    "But I am damn worried about him. I am sure he must be going through a lot right now. I want to be there for him," The frustrated Jasmine said emotionally.


    "I am sure he must know how you are feeling now. Jackson hates seeing you sad so I am sure he will find the time to contact you. Just give him some time hmmm," Catherine said as she pats Jasmine''s back affectionately.


    "I really hope you are right about him contacting me soon," Jasmine said as she covered her face with her palms.


    Because of how worried she was she couldn''t concentrate her attention on anything. All she did was stare at her cell phone the entire day expecting Jackson''s phone call.


    Even after everyone left the office Jasmine refused to leave with the expectation that Jackson wille to pick her up like he normally did.


    "I guess he isn''ting," Jasmine muttered on realising that it was some minutes to midnight.
