    After being conflicted for a while, Jiang Lingzhi could no longer resist the temptation of the food, so she gave up struggling and took two more steps inside. Looking at the Oden, she asked, “Are these delicious?”


    Li Shunan stared at her exquisite side profile for a while before smiling and saying to the cashiernguidly, “I’d like to have one serving of this.”


    The cashier was blushing with shyness. From the moment the boy entered, she had been staring at him and was unable to take her eyes off him at all.

    After paying for the items sessfully, he ced his cellphone back inside his pocket, picked up the items, and nned to leave. Blushing shyly, the cashier asked softly, “Um, can I add you on WeChat?”


    The girl clearly did not do such a thing often and had mustered up the courage to do it.


    Li Shunan’s eyelids were half-opened, and he looked extremely nonchnt. He answered indifferently in a charming voice, “I don’t have a WeChat ount.”


    As soon as he finished speaking, the ambiance in the convenience store became a little strange.


    Both Jiang Lingzhi and the cashier were speechless.


    ‘What did you use to pay for the items then?’


    ‘Can’t you reject me with a better excuse that is a little more convincing?’

    The reason being, she thought of the derisive and contemptuous look in his eyes when she wanted topensate him with money previously.

    For the first time in her life, Jiang Lingzhi felt incredibly embarrassed.


    It seemed that he was wary because too many people tried to flirt with him and he wanted to prevent such things from happening again.


    ‘In his opinion, I’m probably also a boy-crazy person, in addition to being a con artist and a swindler!”

    Jiang Lingzhi snapped back to her senses after hearing his captivating voice.


    He was holding onto the paper cup, which contained the Oden, in his bony fingers, and handed it to her.

    After staring at the paper cup for a while, she discovered that something was wrong. “Aren’t you going to eat any?”


    With a half-smile, Li Shunan twisted the cap of the bottle of mineral water and raised his head to take a sip. He then held the bottle in his hand and said, “I’ve already eaten, unlike you swindlers who are still operating on empty stomachs.”


    Jiang Lingzhi was speechless.


    ‘Can you just get over this?’ Jiang Lingzhi sighed.


    ‘Forget it, he can say whatever he wants.’


    ‘I’ve already given him the money anyway. We won’t meet again in the future!’


    She was just about to start eating her food and stop feeling annoyed. However, it was inconvenient for her to do so with her schoolbag. Hence, she turned to the side and looked at his hand which was hanging by his side.


    His long and thin bony hand was exceptionally beautiful.


    “Since you’re not eating, then you can help me with my bag.” Jiang Lingzhi stared at him with her beautiful almond-shaped eyes and very skillfully handed over her schoolbag to him.


    Li Shunan raised his eyebrows and was somewhat amused.. He askedzily, “Little kid, do we know each other that well?”
