"Hey Emu?"


    Emu''s relishing thoughts were interrupted by the sudden vocalization of the foreign man.


    "Mhmu?"


    It turned itsrge ck and gold face up at the foreign creature, curiosity present in its expression.


    "Do you want to travel with me...? I think it would be quite the journey if we had you along with us." He said with a kind, gentle smile.


    Emu could vaguelyprehend the words of this human through some mystical means, unbeknownst to it.


    And by using such mystical methods, it was clearly able to understand what this big human was asking it.


    However


    There was something that left it slightly confused.


    ''We''?


    It didn''t see any otherrge creature around the altar, so why was the nicerge creature talking about himself like there were two of him?


    A cute, perplexed look emerged on its brilliant golden features before it jiggled around a little bit!


    It hadpletely forgotten what it was thinking about!


    What did this human ask again?


    Something about going on a fun adventure? It liked fun adventures!


    "Mhmu!" "Mhmu!"


    Emu ''instantly'' gave his confirmation in the form of a few intense wiggles. Nheless, Azmond knew what his little buddy was trying to convey, so he moved the little guy to the top of his right shoulder.


    After the little guy was firmly ced on his shoulder, he looked behind him before proceeding to walk in the direction he presumed he had entered the ck altar from.


    "Are you ready for the adventures we have ahead of us, little Emu? Because I''m sure that you will love this world of Asterion just as much as I do.


    But don''t think that our adventures will end with this blue marble floating through space, for there shall be a day when we put our mark in the vast star-filled skies above"


    His voice resounded out as he abruptly stopped in ce and put his right hand into the air, outstretching his fingers, almost as if he were attempting to reach for something out of his reach.


    "..."


    His deep, blue eyes had a sh of intensity go through them before he turned his head down and continued to walk toward what he thought was the ''exit''.


    "This is just the beginning, Emu; never forget that." He began to speak in a solemn tone while gently petting Emu.


    "I feel an indescribable bond between the two of us, a bond that could only be described as the connection between two extremely simr souls. You and I are alike; I can feel it. And I will take that feeling with me to the peak of existence, as we w our way up to the very apex.


    Doesn''t that excite you, Emu???" He spoke with a ferocious smile stered across his face, locking gazes with the ck slime on his shoulders.


    An intense sheen rebounded off Emu''s ck and gold body as it seemed to reciprocate his emotions!


    Azmond got all the confirmation he needed, as he already considered the little buddy as one of his own. His intense gaze turned to one of anticipation as he looked off into the ''exit''


    "Very well! Let us have a long and fruitful rtionship from now until the end of time, Emu."


    His words faded out before disappearingpletely, along with his stalwart figure

    In the blue seas above andscape filled with nothing but trees and mountains, the voice of an unwavering figure began to echo out across the skies.


    "It looks like that was all that needed to be done to leave that altar." Azmond said with an apathetic tone.


    He figured that since Emu had been the only thing inside the ck altar, he must have something to do with how to leave as well. And it turns out his hypothesis was correct, as all he needed to do to leave the altar area, and subsequently the sword-shaped forest area, was the willingness of Emu.


    He didn''t know what that ck altar or sword shaped forest were, but he knew that they were both ces far out of his league


    He had attempted to use his full power strikes to break out of the impermeable space that enclosed him inside the ck altar; however, such attempts were proven futile as his power fizzled away into nothingness upon release.

    A tall, handsome figure adorned in flowing white robes now had more kos than he came out with.


    His Stolid body was suspended a few thousand meters above the air, with a brown-haired busty beautytched onto his back and a ck and gold slime making itself at home on top of his long bed of raven ck hair.


    He told the little Emu to switch spots and move over to his shoulder a few times, but the little buddy obstinately refused him


    So he gave up and let the two kos do whatever they wanted with his body (Plot ofnd).


    The figure in question analyzed the lush greenery below and noticed that therge assortment of gigantic trees in the shape of an Eastern-style sword were no longer anywhere in sight. The only thing visible were the usualrge mountains and ''normal'' sized trees.


    He sent out his Divine sense for a dozen miles, and yet he found no trace of the area he just came from. That was when a very precarious question popped up in his head


    ''Where are we?''

    He ignored the tempting sensation rubbing up against him and proceeded to respond to the yful beauty.

    He would never tell her that he could find his way back because of all the trackers and ''safety precautions'' he set up around Crystalline. That would make him seem stalker-like! And he wasn''t anything like that, he swears!
