    Another team of 9 had approached the center of the ind now and their objective was the other teams to obtain their tokens and to kill them.


    They had since lost 2 of their cultivators.


    As soon as they emerged from the forest, they saw Ji Yuan and his team.


    But before they could ready their battle cry, they were stunned; it was because they saw a total of 16 cultivators camping along the slopes of the mountains.


    There was even a 9th rank epic phoenix god beast that was ying with on the dark shades of the mountain, conveniently staying away from their divine senses.


    9 vs. 16 were insane…


    Plus one 9th rank epic phoenix god beast.


    Ji Yuan grinned to them, "Surrender your tokens to me and I shall protect you from the menace of the other teams until the end of the trial. Or else, you can all die in this ce immediately."


    This was just a threat as Ji Yuan did not have the intention of killing them.


    Needless to say, the new team of 9 cultivators surrendered immediately after they had secure Ji Yuan''s oath in not ughtering their team.


    They just perplexed why there were 16 cultivators in this ce instead of 11?


    But they soon found out that there was actually another team in this ce that was in a simr situation as them.


    They did not know whether tough or cry.


    Soon, another team of 8 cultivators had arrived at the scene as well. This team had lost 3 cultivators to the treacherous profound beasts and the dangerous spirit nts in the vicinity.


    Many of them were even wounded.


    Like the previous team, the first cultivator that greeted them was Ji Yuan and they were shocked to see that there were 25 cultivators in this ce and there was even a 9th rank epic phoenix god beast; this caused them to bepletely stunned.


    Among them was Beitang Hai and he had recognized Ji Yuan, "Brother Ji Yuan?! Are you going to ughter us all?"

    Like the previous team, Ji Yuan had offered them the same option and they too, surrendered their tokens to Ji Yuan.


    Now Ji Yuan had a total of 27 extra tokens.


    Other than the two encounters with the opposing teams, Day 4 actually passed quite peacefully for Ji Yuan.


    Ji Yuan checked the opposing teams if they had seen the Smiling Divine Maiden Chu Lixue or Bai Qianfeng and he was disappointed that they had not seen them.


    His Senior Sister Chu Lixue was probably gone now…


    Zhi Jiugong and the Lovely Empress did not take this too well; they were quiet for the entire day.


    As for his Qianfeng, she was probably uninterested to be a champion of a divine consort as she held herself quite haughty.


    So his n of faking his ''death'' was doomed to fail from the start.


    There were actually 2 other teams that were still inside the forest but they dared not approach the center of the ind.


    One was actually Wang Gongzi from Ji Yuan''s original team and he was the solo survivor.


    Since he was alone, he had naturally decided to find a safe spot and wait out the entire 5 days of trial instead since he did not want to die or have any mishaps.


    As for the other team, it was actually the team that Ling Feiyue, Xie Hongyu and Hua Yunzi had originated; it was led by Great Saint Jing Taizhong, Heng Wujian and 4 other cultivators.


    Great Saint Jing Taizhong and his team had decided to retreat to the outskirt of the ind instead. Instead of attempting to obtain their trial points, they had decided to find their fortuitous encounters in this ce, far away from the other powerful cultivators.

    But before he could finish, all the maidens interrupted him.
