These families often extort money and resources from the poor citizens, leaving them with even less than they had before.


    Han Cai had seen people getting killed in the streets because they offended some martial artists. Despite the outside world being dangerous, Han Cai had a very good life, as he was born into a wealthy merchant family. He had ess to anything he wanted, and he was always safe, and protected by guards at all times. His family was one of the wealthiest in the town, and no one dared to offend them.
