    She had frequently embarrassed Bai Qinghao in the past and did not bother to conceal her love for Bai Chenxi.


    Bai Qinghao was such a powerful existence. A simple shift of his feet would cause the entire city to tremble. Despite that, he had already disyed a lot of tolerance towards her.


    Yet, she actually dared to elope. The one thing that Bai Qinghao could not ept was anyone coveting the things and the woman whom he owned!


    She had asked for the consequences and she would have to bear them.


    “Is that so?” Bai Qinghao grunted coldly but clearly did not believe Bai Chenxi’s exnation.


    Although Fang Xinxin did not wish to team up with Bai Chenxi, she had no choice but to do so in order to clear up the matter of their elopement.


    “Bai Chenxi is speaking the truth. He has always treated me like his future sister-inw. He doesn’t have any thoughts for me that are out of line.”


    “And what about your thoughts?” Bai Qinghao’s expression was cold and indifferent.


    He spoke as though her answer would not affect him.


    Only God knew how fearful he was of hearing her say that she liked Bai Chenxi.


    Even though... throughout the years, it had already be an undeniable fact.


    Just the thought of her feelings for Bai Chenxi caused his chest to immediately start throbbing painfully.


    Everytime this issue came to mind, his heart would ache.


    He tightened his fists at the sudden, sharp pain. However, on the surface, he appeared to bepletely unaffected.


    She spoke unhurriedly and made use of Bai Chenxi’s words to assert her stance. “I, naturally... am the same as Bai Chenxi. To me, he is just your cheap cousin.”


    Hearing this, Bai Chenxi was immediately angered.


    What did she mean by ‘cheap cousin’?


    It sounded almost as though she was looking down on him.


    But the dumb woman loved him so much, it was unlikely for her to do so.


    Bai Qinghao had prepared himself for the blow when he heard her first few words. However, when he received her full answer, his nervous heart eased slightly. “Really?”


    She could not me him for being suspicious of her. Fang Xinxin recalled the way she used to dere her feelings for Bai Chenxi in front of Bai Qinghao. She really wished she could swallow back all of those words now.


    She promised him with a look of certainty. “No matter who I may lie to, I won’t lie to you.”


    For some strange reason, Bai Qinghao felt his entire heart warming up because of her words. Instead of the sharp pain from earlier, he now feltforted.


    Bai Chenxi did not believe her. This was because he had always assumed that he was fatally attractive. Moreover, he was convinced that Fang Xinxin, the dumb trash, would be head over heels in love with him for the rest of her life.


    He guessed that she had said so because she was fearful of the dire consequences at this moment.


    Fang Xinxin saw that Bai Qinghao was silent and pointed at the red stain on the bed. She said, “Look. There’s the evidence that there’s absolutely nothing between Bai Chenxi and I.”


    How could Bai Qinghao not know how pure she was...


    She wouldn’t have been able to fabricate this even if she tried.


    Indeed, it rified her rtionship with Bai Chenxi and eased his anger.


    Otherwise, he would already have killed someone by now.


    Did herposed attitude suggest that she was no longer as resistant to him?


    Bai Qinghao’s mood strangely became better.


    Bai Chenxi rushed to speak up as well. “Miss Fang is right. CEO Bai, you have to believe us. The two of us are really innocent.”


    In order to express his sincerity, he added the next set of words in a mellow voice. “You like Miss Fang because you have ‘special tastes’. Not everyone’s tastes are as good as yours.”
